I love my ps4, but, it is missing some mind numbing features. I dislike how messy my games look and how some just go poof if I haven't played them in awhile. It would be greatly appreciated to have what others have mentioned, maybe a way of pinning certain games so they are the go to?
And the themes...man...let us use our own or something.
If they released them annually, the IPS would burn out, thus removing their franchise legacy where it carries on from console to console. They would need entire new IPS for every console.
In the long run, they make more money with their current method.
