Well this is certainly not entirely surprising. Now they are just flat out saying "Preorder the game, and here's a list of things you won't get with it!"

My favourite game of all time...I would buy any console, hands down, if this came back. It was originally supposed to be 6 games but due to problems within the company, it had to wrap up in 3.

That being said, it will never happen. It would have by now but the rights and who owns what, kills this from happening or ever happening. That's why we appreciate the Xeno in any title. Shows recognition to its predecessors...

When more of the game is shown, the hype will rise. That said, having little hype is a good thing. It doesn't raise expectations to high, and in turn, if the game is indeed great, we fall in love.
Basically like Until Dawn.

Guns and shield eh.
Would be nifty if Noctis can switch between guns, sword and shield without it being a pain. Make it seem completely natural and quick, bust in some combo moves as he spins around and such. If this is a hack and slash, it would be worthwhile. If it's sluggish, well then I won't be using the gun and shield all that much.
Love the game, if this does well, i'll pick up the 3 dlcs.
Smart people won't let it get under their skin.
