yeah sadly ps3 is not looked at as a FPS console for the public. Also, there might have been a halo effect. People on halo must have told other people, how good is COD4 is compared to Halo, so people jumped on COD4.

It's time for sony to steal xbox's exclusives. But seriously they didn't bring it to the ps3 in the first place is because they didn't how to develop for ps3. Most games became exclusive for 360 because of it.

This is what i mean by story sucking. lack of character development, and no reason for fighting. I was so bored out of my mind, that i started skiping scenes.

I feel said for the Wii owners tho. It was a gamecube exculsive, but then it came to ps2. Now it's ps3 and xbox360 exclusive.
ff12 didn't suck, the story sucked. And i guess the beginning sucked because of it's difficulty. However, ff12 was a step up in gameplay and mostly importantly it was addicting.
EDIT: I would go as far as too say that the brillant gameplay covered up for the story.
Xbox isn't holding out on Tales of Vesperia as a mega exclusive. Mcirosoft just likes to cover their bases with shooters. The only reason it becomes a exclusive is because developers haven't gotten around the hurdles surrounding the ps3. Once they get over it, they can release it on ps3.
First: ARCADE USERS DON't have a hard-drive, so forget about renting. Since your god i.e Microsoft has dropped the price of Arcade version, arcade will eventually sell a lot.

people seriously need to stop saying that since ps3 is a blue-ray player, this is why it's selling. What if it didn't?
Then ps3 would have sold a lot more than 360. Blue-ray is the reason Sony came 1 year after the 360 and made it so much more expensive than the 360. Developers would have had a lot more time with the ps3 if ps3 came out earlier and we wouldn't have to see the port issues.
First party developers are a lot familiar with the ps3 and make some good game...
