The graphical differences is a result of the porting process. Happens to any game that is ported from a platform to another, some details get enhanced while some other get worse. Anyways the game looks awesome port or not.

Plus this is the same demo played at E3 on july...so these details might had been addressed for the retail version.

i find it funny that all this negative media against the PS3 is conveniently surfacing right now. To me the media is trying to distract gamers from the truth, and the truth is (as of right now cause i don't know if M$ has something) that the 360 is the ONE with NO BIG HITTERS coming out in the next few months, or the whole next year as a matter of fact. improving the XMB features on the PSN instead of wasting so much time and efforts with this. I still think some people my enjoy it, and hey! its free, but it doesn't seem useful for gamers, at least not for now.

Give me in-game private chat for the XMB and i will be 100 times more excited that i'm right now with HOME...

it doesn't look too hot, but i think i read somewhere that this game will run at 1080p native so in motion it might look good. Another thing is that maybe there is a lot of detail and particle effects that can't be judge just by looking at screen shots.

just to experience it, but i don't think it will be my cup of tea...

that HOME is just an application and not a dashboard. Home is like a virtual "facebook or myspace" where players meet other people. It's in no way meant to compete with xbox live cause xbox live is a service provided to play online games with a lot of practical features that the PSN still lack. What PS3 gamers like me should ask for is for Sony to add "in-game" private chat, voice messages and cross games invites, and ALL of these features are for the XMB, the have nothing...

M$ has a lot of resources ($$$$$$) and they don't hesitate on paying for exclusivity. They can actually pay SE the quantity they would've made out of the game if it came out on the PS3. The only solution to that is if the PS3 can catch and pass the 360's install base by a couple millions.

releasing games on the PS3 so they start increasing sales numbers because its a proven fact that the 360 fan base don't buy RPGs and the 360 is a minority on Japan, the biggest RPG market in the world...

PS3 is the way to go for square enix if they want to make money. Multiplatform or not they need the PS3 to survive...

you didn't understand what he tried to say...what he meant was that the graphical leap between Resistance 2 compared to Killzone 2 is huge...he wasn't comparing Resistance 1 with the second and Killzone 1 with the second.

Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 are PS3 only games that are supposed to show the power of the PS3 better than a 3rd party game. Same thing Gears should do for the 360, but between Gears 1 and Gears 2 the leap what small, hence he implied the 360 is maxed out, at lea...

I could only imagine Resistance 3 running on this...*drool* and i don't even care if they can only put 10 chimeras at a time instead of 25...it will still look gorgeous...

I completely disagree with your opinion...LBP is targeted to everybody and believe it or not i think the game suits more to the hardcore gamer. The game is hard for the "casual" player after the first couple of levels, but it's so cute that it appeals to them too. Graphically the game is astounding too, it just didn't get the marketing...

another AWESOME game created...and the 360 version doesn't suffer
