If you didn't know, Skulltag is pretty much an upgraded version of ZDoom. Give it a try if you haven't!
Always great to see other people still enthusiastic about this classic.
Been loving this game so far.
Wow, General Leo from FF6 actually got recognition for something? That's a first.
Oblivion's horrible leveling system is the only thing I have against it.
Clipping of textures is one of the most common graphical mishaps in gaming, period, yet everyone makes a huge deal about it here...
"He specifically mentions here that it is because they want to keep the game the same on both platforms, is that the Xbox 360 version not affecting the PS3 version?"
Sounds like it's SE affecting the PS3 version, not the 360. They were supposed to finish the PS3 version and then make it work on the 360, but I guess that's not the case. Silly Squenix...
Took me just over 8 hours to do a 100% item run of the game on my first playthrough. I'd say that's pretty good for a $15 game, since some $60 games are much shorter. I've also been putting more time into it than just that, though. It's a great game for speed running.
Yes yes, we know. Moving on now...
And whoever approved it while we're at it.
Maybe getting shot is a bit harsh, though. How about a good lashing and call it a day?
I just hope it's as awesome as Oblivion without the crappy leveling system. That system is the entire reason I like Morrowind better.
Good for them. Well deserved.
It's not so bad. Activision has been very hands off with Blizzard, unlike the other great devs they own.
Sheesh, just because I want to defend somebody's right to create/enjoy what they want (within reasonable boundaries of course) doesn't mean I agree with their tastes. Some people are so dense.
Doh, they said Doom was released in 1983. That sure woulda been ahead of its time then!
I'm still not sure if it'll provide any amazingly deep experiences, but I can't deny it looks fun to mess around with. Heck, I may be surprised, though.
The guy on the right of the first picture looks like this guy from Samurai 7 o.O
Basically...
Developer listens to community and uses their idea. People rage.
Developer doesn't listen to ideas of community. People rage.
That's just how the Internet works! Some people can always find something to get angry about. I too would be thrilled if they used an idea of mine.
He's always at Scrapyard.
And what a lame way for him to go it was...
Hm, that site doesn't have its developers straight. Relic makes the Dawn of War and Company of Heroes games. Runic Games makes Torchlight.
Good to see the manual out now, though.
