Only works on firmware version 4.5 and below? Nintendo is already on firmware 6.1. This already won't work on the majority of 3DSs out there.
I'd love it if Vita and Wii U could turn around. There are fanboys on both sides hoping for them to fail. I'd love to see them proven wrong.
Hope so too man, there are so many people out there actually hoping for these consoles to fail. I'd love to see Vita and Wii U prove people wrong. On a positive note, I've heard that sales for Dragons Crown on the Vita were pretty solid considering it's a new IP and that there was also a PS3 version.

They can pick up sales sure, but the projections they set are ridiculous, they'll never reach it. I personally think they should ditch the Basic model and sell the deluxe for $279.99. Also increase the hard drive space. I know you can use an external but not everyone want to have one tethered to their system.
Anyone saying it should be $200 or below is insane. That would be suicide. The extreme loss they take from that would not justify the sales increase.
I think the region restrictions should be the same on both Wii U and 3DS. My little brother got a 3DS from Canada and it plays all of my American 3DS games and my American 3DS can play his Canadian version of Super Mario 3D land. So I think it should be safe to buy a Wii U from Canada.
Last time I checked the Wii U was $349 and $299 for the premium and deluxe respectively, not $399 like the article states. I do think it needs a price drop though, it's price is way too close to the PS4 right now.
I agree that those are great games, however 1 is DLC, 1 is an eshop exclusive, and Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101 despite looking spectacular are not really system movers. But Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101 should help get the ball rolling so Nintendo better hope they can keep up momentum into the holidays when PS4 and XB1 hit and into the future. A price cut could help as well.
When are websites gonna stop falling for Kamiya's tweets? If he says anything along the lines of "next week ... in(magazines,trailers,the web etc.)..." he's just playing around. There is gonna be a wonderful 101 direct though, just not next week.

Yeah, you're so right, that things on fire right now and it's probably gonna stay that way all year long. I'm also really looking forward to Bravely Default next year, I'm so glad Nintendo decided to publish it in Europe and America since Square Enix couldn't be arsed to do it.

Vita screen quality is lovely. Yeah it'd be nice if Nintendo had a better screen. Still doesn't make me love my 3DS any less though.

I agree with you mostly Pops. Just not the whole "no games" thing. I think "no games" should be used as a more literal term. Exclusives wise for the rest of the year in Japan, Vita has Tearaway(which looks amazing), Killzone and God Eater 2(also on PSP) so it does have "some games". Maybe this can change at Gamescom but if not there isn't really much to look forward to in 2014 other than Freedom Wars. I hope Sony does show some more support to the thing, it&#...
