I know that the Wii U is less powerful than PS4 and Xbone. I always get Sony and Nintendo consoles so I don't really have to worry about missing out on anything.
There will definitely be some pretty nice looking games for it though. Now I know "next gen" is such an extremely technical term these days, but are you seriously gonna tell me that these games look ugly

I can't speak for everyone, but that's the reason I own multiple consoles. If each system has multiple games that I want I'll but them, even.
And Nintendo seems to making a variety of games this year and in the year to come available across 3DS and Wii U like Bayonetta 2, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion 2, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Monolith Soft's X, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Wind Waker HD, MK8, Pokemon X and Y etc. The letter on t...
Um if you look at actual tech threads on places like GAF about Wii U, you'd see how wrong you are about that. PS4 and Xbox One are definitely more powerful than Wii U, but the Wii U isn't 2006 hardware like so many people believe.

I just play the games I want on the systems I want. I see no need to disrespect a console if it isn't exactly for me. That's how it's always been for me and Microsoft. I have never had anything against their consoles, but they've just never really been for me. Grew up more or less with Sony and Nintendo and have always preferred their games. Xbox One is the only console from them that I'll actively avoid and tell everyone I know to avoid unless they change their policies....

This gen is probably the first time I'll actively recommend everyone I know to NOT buy a console. I was never into the console wars, despite the fact that I've never owned a Microsoft console, I've never had anything against them. They're just not really for me. Man some of you guys are really petty with your fanboy crap. It's not like he said "3DS is the best handheld EVER!!" It's his personal choice and it's how he feels about the handheld and how it serves his needs. Some of you really need to grow up.
I have a feeling a lot of people will see it this way, and honestly that's not such a bad thing. And by 2014, their will be a lot more to play on the system not to mention a price drop is guaranteed by then so it's really not a bad choice to buy one next year.
I would say that title should apply to Xbox more than it does Nintendo atm.
Now as for Nintendo, in terms of the Wii U, I'd like to see what a price drop combined with their lineup until the end of the year could lead them.
And as for the 3DS, they really don't have a lot to worry about, the system may not be selling as much as the DS (let's face it that thing was a monster) but that sure isn't stopping it from being the top selling system wo...
Yeah, but remember, when people are actually shopping for these consoles, they won't see that. All they'll see is the Wii U @ $349 and PS4 @ $399 and that's not very good considering what the PS4 offers. I think that a price drop around the release of Pikmin 3 could very well be the start of the rebirth of the Wii U that we are hoping for.

No I don't mean it like that. I mean GTA V is one of the most anticipated games ever, it's launch is probably gonna be HUGE and it's gonna overshadow a lot of games coming out in that space of time. Yeah dude, of course they're not out as yet, neither are PS4 or Xbox One games. What was the point of making that statement? Just because they aren't out yet doesn't mean they don't exist. Wii U needs games and it needs them soon, I agree with that, but that doesn't discredit how good these games look (at least to me), whether it be because of their respective artstyles or the that all of them (with the exception of X) run at 60fps.
