Reviews can give you a good idea of what a game is like but they can't tell you whether YOU will like a game or not.
For example if I listened exclusively to reviews, I would never have played Nier and man what a loss that would of been, I loved that game despite it's flaws.
Well they did say support would come for that at E3 last year but they haven't said anything since so I'm not too confident as to where they are at with that.
I would love these kinds of discounts were I live but that unfortunately isn't the case. Well the Basic models has got to go anyway as Nintendo is discontinuing the production of that model. Honestly in terms of price I think $279 US or $269 US for the deluxe would've hit the sweet spot.
I'll most likely pick one up after the official price cut though, there is a lot of stuff coming out for the Wii U that I'm looking forward too.

Well I would hope we would see it eventually, hell even the guys that did the excellent fan translation offered to give Nintendo their work at absolutely no charge. See lots of folks saw the Wii U there and instantaneously assumed the article was talking about that. It says right in the description what they're talking about.
If there aren't any exclusives you're interested in them for and you already have a gaming PC, there really isn't a need to get one right away. I know I'm getting a PS4 next for sure. I will be getting a Wii U soon though. It's now starting to get games that I'm interested in and the price drop makes it even better.

QUALITY as you put it is subjective. Pikmin 3 is what I would call an extremely polished and QUALITY game as well as The Wonderful 101. And their lineup for the rest of the year looks pretty QUALITY to me (won't know for sure until I play them though) Also stop using the term "HD side", the Wii U is HD so it's somewhat redundant to say that.

Well I'm not really interested in the PS4 launch lineup myself, I'm picking up one next year for sure though. Most of the stuff I want for it I can get on my PC. I may pick up the Wind Waker Bundle next month if I can get it along with The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3.
What I'm saying is though, with that single phrase, Reggie has opened the can of worms that is the console wars, and it's absolutely disgusting to look at.

Well they do make a lot of sequels but to say what they do is "nothing but rehashes and sequels" is a bit hyperbolic. I mean there are games like Xenoblade, Rhythm Heaven, The Wonderful 101, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, Fire Emblem and more that I won't list because I don't want to ramble.

Small correction, The Wonderful 101 is developed by Platinum but the IP is owned by Nintendo and they paid for the development of the game.
It's sales are definitely bad but from what I've played of the demo it's a fantastic game. Don't talk smack about a game you haven't played.
