Well I can understand your feelings. I don't own a wii U myself as yet and I really think Nintendo needs to lower the price seeing that PS4 is gonna be $399. I'm pretty much guaranteed to go the Sony/Nintendo home console route like I always do. When they do drp the price of the Wii U I'll pick one up for sure. As for games I'm looking forward to for Wii U and 3DS (keep in mind these are upcoming games only, there are some already released games that I'm interested in as w...
I don't get it, is no one else seeing this? Did I only imagine this awesome looking game?

and yes it's a first party Nintendo IP.
HELL YEAH, The original donkey kong country soundtracks are some of the absolute bests of the 16 bit era!

They do need a price drop I agree, but I thought they had a very solid showing overall, just wish they had more surprises. DKCR sequel being made by retro wasn't exactly the surprise I was looking for, don't get me wrong, the original was one of the best 2D platformers I've ever played, but I wanted retro to work on something else like Metroid or maybe another franchise.

Alright, here's some statistics to show what a "life" you have.

Oh thanks for directing me here, great blog man. Can't help but agree with you. Nintendo had a solid showing but they needed that one big absolutely surprising exclusive that no one would see coming and they didn't do that. And what you said about what Reggie should say concerning third parties, that would've been great.
You are absolutely spot on about why Sony won, it was because they showed that they have indeed been listening to us.

"Unfortunately, E3 this year was not about the games, and Microsoft is to blame for that. People wanted to hear about their consumer rights, because for a lot of people, it was impossible to be excited for games wondering if their game ownership would be restricted."
Holy crap dude you hit the nail right on the head. However, I will say that Tretton essentially taking Microsoft down blow after blow and hearing the crowds reaction was a great moment for E3.

Mario Kart actually looked surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting much but it really looks ALOT better than previous Mario Karts. I thought they would just do a simple update but it seems like more than that.
Aww man, this sucks. I wanna play the next team ICO game so bad. :(
I agree, more surprises would've been nice (Retro working on Donkey Kong again isn't exactly the sort of surprise I was looking for), but overall I thought it was a solid showing.
X looked jaw dropping, Bayonetta looked great, Mario Kart looked like they're not sticking to the safe route of just up rezzing Mario Kart 7, Smash Bros looks amazing. I agree that the Direct wasn't as good as Sony's(they dominated this year) but to say they had a bad showing is an exaggeration.
IMO this is THE best E3 in years all three guys came out strong, and while non were perfect, they each had strong showings.
Couldn't agree more man, all three of them had something great to show. Unfortunately due to Xbox One's DRM I won't be buying it so right now it's looking like PS4 and Wii U in terms of which home consoles I'll be purchasing. And Sony really knocked it out of the park with that price.
Not to mention for a JRPG lover such as myself this E3 was absolute heaven, I mean seriously look at these!!

Man, I'm glad "X" is getting some attention. It really is an incredible looking game. Monolith is really a talented developer, Nintendo were smart to buy them and make them a first party dev.
WOW, just all I can say is wow. After this E3 there is absolutely no question, PS4 and Wii U is the way to go for home consoles this gen!
Sony did great, doesn't mean Nintendo can't do great too. I know the stuff they show might not be for you and that's okay, but that doesn't mean you need to try shove your opinions onto others.
To me there is only one loser right now and that's Microsoft and their DRM policies.

Awesome job Sony, great showing. Not to mention no DRM at all! Hoping this also means Nintendo will drop the price of the Wii U so I can hopefully pick them both up this holiday. Sorry but Xbox really dropped the ball with that $499 price tag.
Wow coming from someone with your name, that says something. LOL! But hey, we know that we're getting a great powerful console and that's what counts. Still have mixed feelings about the design though.
Was definitely disappointed by this and Retro working on another Donkey Kong Country(although I will most likely get that game and enjoy the hell out of it), but I thought the stuff they showed overall was solid. Especially X.
I would take galaxy 3 or sunshine 2 or just something completely new over this mario, it just looked WAY to close to the 3DS Super Mario 3D land and while I enjoyed that game, I didn't need another one for the Wii U. They should've done somethi...
