It may not be Silent Hills by name but will it be a horror game as well as have the ideas that were intended for Silent Hills? Only time will tell.

If they went with my idea it would just be adding the story line to the game... not the gameplay as well. You'd be replaying every game over again but with this new battle system and any other additions they make. This is basically going to be a brand new game with old storys being told.

Exactly! They showed another trailer that eased my worries. The game looks like it's staying very true to what Final Fantasy VII was story wise and it's bringing a battle system that will work strategically as well as keep with the times. So far, they haven't given me any reason to doubt their strategy so I see no reason to complain.
People just want to find a reason to complain without any clarification of what is really taking place. They don't understand the business part of it and they don't want to pay for good hard work. We don't know the details of it being episodic and who knows... it could be a free first episode and the rest end up being like $15 to $30 each with a "Buy it all now" option for $60. I honestly don't think this is going to be as bad as everyone is going to make it. Think about it, over the years the Final Fantasy VII story line has grown so much that it would be so long to make it into one game. It's no longer just FFVII... The PS4 does have some secret sauce. Up till recently developers have only had access to 6 out of 8 cores. Just the other day the SKU update now allows developers to utilize the 7th core. This might be just the kick some games need to get up to 1080p 60. If not, then we will have to see how the console handles it.
