Killzone on the PS3 isn't anywhere near 50 million. It is supposed to be somewhere in the low 20s.
Going by the 640p last gen looking graphics and last gen laggy P2P networking 29 million of the budget must have went to marketing and paying off review sites with things like the 1000 dollar Halo 3 'gift bag' that was sent to reviewers.
With about 1 million to repackage Halo 2 with new box art and throw in a map editor.
And the console world continues to laugh and laugh and laugh at the 360 fiasco...

Idiotic 50 dollar a year fees that add hundreds of dollars to the price of the console
Gears of War could only handle 8 players at time with insane lag problems
Halo 3 could only handle 16 players at a time with its laggy last gen P2...

Silly fanboy, even dopey sites like vgchartz.com that constantly inflate 360 sales numbers for hardware and software has the PS3 outselling the 360 by a wide margin in 2007.

* Has almost nothing to show at E3 - Halo 3 looks amazingly bad
* Has nothing to show at GDC
* Peter Moore gets fired
* 1.1 billion dollars just to repair existing 360s for just the RRoD defect
* Class action lawsuit over RRoD failures
* Class action lawsuit over disc scratching drives
* Two years on the market and still no solution to the hardware failu...

The only question was the warranty implications which were easily confused.

Assasin's Creed wasn't disappointing. It looked like garbage in every public demo and it was garbage when it actually got released.
Heavenly Sword is an amazing game with unprecedented facial animation and character modeling and animation outside of the current next gen graphics king Uncharted. The game is about 10 hours long with large amount of unlockable content and difficulty modes to add to replay value.
