Good to hear final confirmation of the inclusion Metal Gear Online.
That about raps it up for remaining questions fo what will most likely be 2008's GOTY if it doesn't go to Killzone or Little Big Planet.
All that is left is for the game is to get into PS3 owners hands now and for review sites like EGM and 1Up to trash the game in reviews.
EGM/1Up: Halo 3 10/10!
LOL!
Two words: Damage Control.
This guy is someone who makes his living being a paid for shill for Microsoft. He spent the couple years trying to damage consumer adoption of BluRay. Now that BluRay has won he is doing some bitter damage control.
Over the years he's tried to do the same crap for:
Microsoft vs Apple - He picks the Microsoft product/solution!
Microsoft vs Linux - He picks the Microsoft product/solution!
Microsoft vs Sony - H...
Rob Enderle???
google Rob Enderle Microsoft shill
if you for some reason don't know who this prick is.
Man, the little Xbot ioi who runs the joke of a site can't even inflate 360 sales and undercount PS3 sales enough to keep the 360 out of last place anymore.
Ioi seems to have had a meltdown after the giant holiday PS3 sales and the death of HD-DVD and went on a fanboy tantrum 'correcting' aka slashing PS3 sales numbers by huge amounts and arbitrarily pumping up 360 worldwide sales figures even more.
Things to keep in mind about the fanboy vgchartz site:
...
Gamers are tired of EGM/1Up's Xbox fanboyism. EGM can cry their little Xbot eyes out but they have no one to blame but themselves.
No one but hardcore Xbots want to have to listen to:
* Halo 3 being whored constantly
* Any game that remotely is seen as a threat to anything Halo related getting trashed
* The joke review scores
It is now 2008, gamers are tire of that crap and just want solid information on upcoming games...
Yeech.
Looks like a slightly higher rez last gen game with a bunch of blur and shiny added to various materials.
So sad. The original DMC blew people away when we first saw it running on the PS2 years ago. Capcom needs one of those little yellow starburst stickers on the front of the box:
"Gimped to support the 360!"
A Space in Home a best thought of as the equivalent of a webpage, but in 3D.
All the spaces are linked up to each other through 3D connections or links just like in a webbrowser. So if you were going to take a site like gametrailers.com and make a Home Space for the site you would:
* Take some existing or have an artist create a 3D model of some sort of physical room or rooms just like you would in any game development house
* Mark surfaces as plac...
Wow, another sour grapes HD-DVD article. Everyone loves reading these.
Just change the shark picture to a cry baby image...
And the hammer falls! The cesspool of Xbox fanboys that is EGM and 1Up just got publicly bïtchslapped hard.
EGM/1Up is nothing more than a marketing branch of Microsoft and a training ground for future Microsoft employees.
The downside for the Xbots at EGM/1Up? No more being able to trash non-Xbox titles.
The upside for the Xbots at EGM/1Up? More time now to hype Halo 3!
EGM/1Up what a shïtstain on the gaming world.
You have to be joking...
The worlds biggest Microsoft media whore for their overhyped Halo 3 game, Dan Hsu is writing an article about 'video game media' INTEGRITY!!!
LOL!!!!
This is the clown who tried to tell everyone that after the realtime Killzone 2 E3 trailer was unveiled last year - you know the one that Xbox fans claimed wouldn't be possible until the PS4 - and the realtime PS3 graphics matched the original Killzone 2 trailer shot for shot ...
It has nothing to do with humility. BluRay needs to tie up the remaining loose ends from their victory over HD-DVD and then move on to the real longterm battle against DVD and consumer HDTV adoption.
BluRay can't really claim final victory until Universal and Paramount officially drop HD-DVD for BluRay. It sounds like Paramount is poised to do so soon. Universal is supposed to be ramping up BluRay production.
Please. Vgachartz.com is just some teenage Xbox fan named ioi who use to post on various game forums until he was banned for spouting bogus sales numbers.
"@actas123 so how did MS stuff channels last year then? "
They leveraged their retail channel supply of Windows and other Microsoft software products to get retailers to take massive amounts of 360 units. That is why there were giant stacks of 360 sitting out on store floors all the way until April or May last year. A giant waste of effort just to make a PR claim of '10.5 million sold'.
Neither Nintendo or Sony have that same retail power.
vgchatz.com? Fact???
LOL!
Like 10.5 million 360s sold last December? Grow up fanboy...
Yes, the Xbox fanboy, ioi, who runs the site had a fanboy meltdown and went nuts this week. He out of the blue slashed PS3 worldwide sales by over 200k and seems to have magically add over 100k to the 360.
And this is already on top of the inflated 360 NA sales and undertracked European PS3 sales.
The same day Warner dumped HD-DVD the little Xbox fanboy, ioi, who runs the joke of a site went on a temper tantrum and suddenly decided to 'correct' the worldwide PS3 numbers - slashing them by over 200k.
Get this vgchartz.com garbage out of here.
Ioi and his site are banned for the crap he spreads on every reputable gaming forum on the Net.
This is the problem with trying to compete in the console market without a strong array of first party developers. Right now Microsoft pretty much just has:
Rare
Lionhead
Bungie is now independent. Bioware and Bizarre are now doing multiplatform development at EA and Activision, respectively. Rare is just a shell of the company they use to be back in the N64 days. Lionhead is decent but more of a second tier developer than a huge AAA system seller develope...
Two things:
1) Cheaper disc duplication/production costs as the volume of BluRay discs sold rapidly rises leading to less cost per PS3 game.
2) Cheaper BluRay drive manufacturing costs as the number of drives sold rises rapidly.
Possibly the appeal of picking up a PS3 for the winning next gen movie format but stand alone BluRay prices have dropped quite a bit so it remains to be seen if there will be any significant effect on PS3 sales.
