The fact that PS4 Destiny is going to have some nonsense exclusive DLC has almost nothing to do with why more people are buying on PS4. It has to do with the install base of both systems and the demographic of gamers on each system.
The problem with digital is they cannot undercut the retailers so there will never be a price difference between physical and digital.

No it is not it will most likely overheat your system like the ones for the previous generation.
The price of games would be influenced by market forces as consumers will determine if the game's value is worth their money. If publishers price their game too high people won't buy it and if they price the game lower they will sell higher volume. These "greedy" companies make money when people buy their game so it is up to consumers voting with their wallet to determine if these companies will make money or not.

Although with streaming services there may be no need for new consoles, as long as there is a market of people willing to buy a new console, companies will keep releasing them. We see every time companies release new products people are lining up and pre-ordering them even before they know how the new version differs from the previous product.

Also it is a game with 2 female characters for Anita and friends to criticize.
Every game should be priced separately based on development cost and how much value they bring to the consumer.
