I doubt it a lot of people have got or are getting next gen consoles and want to buy games for them and this is going to be one of the few games out this holiday season.

Good job citing stuff that has nothing to do with the video game division of the business, which is a small part of both Sony and Microsoft. And by the way, once upon a time there was a company that was in many different businesses that were not doing well until they discovered their niche in video games. That company was Nintendo and they did pretty well financially after that.

Activision pays them to use the license, most likely in the form of royalties on games sold.

I could have sworn I read a few years back that Activision was getting out of the licensed movie and TV games business. I'm surprised they even make money on these garbage games I always wonder who is buying them.
It is from third party sellers so I guess anything goes but it might have some value as a collectible item or a drink coaster.
