The multiplayer is part of the story though. Multiplayer is basically just co-op where you play the story together.
I couldn't care less how good or bad a console's online is as long as I can play the multiplayer games online. I don't purchase consoles based on how good or bad their multiplayer system will be, I buy it based on the games. Now that Nintendo is going back to focusing on hardcore games and getting back a ton of 3rd party support I will be buying the 3DS & Wii U.
Last time I was in a beta for a PSN game I didn't buy it because I completed the story mode and that game was Dead Nation. I was hyped for it but the beta ruined the experience for me so I'm never testing downloadable games again. Retail games are fine though.

Just because it's in the same universe doesn't mean I'll care about it. I like persona for the gameplay & story but Catherine's story doesn't interest me in anyway regardless if it's supposed to be related to persona or not. The game just isn't for me (much like how GTA4 & Rockstar's Table Tennis wasn't for me even though I liked games such as GTA 3 & GTA: Vice City; although GTA4 was just a bad sequel).
LO was a terrible game and it was nowhere close to being a Final Fantasy experience. Even Blue Dragon was better than LO but both were garbage in general. It's no surprise that The Last Story bombed in Japan.
It's actually just going to make me do the opposite as I don't support online passes in general (I know you get them when you buy the game new). If a game has an online pass then I rent it for the single player ONLY. I won't even bother buying a game if it has a online pass and this is just yet another reason why I'm buying a 3DS over the Vita.
I'm a fan of the Persona games but this game doesn't interest me one bit. I played the demo and watched people play the Japanese version and it's nothing like Persona. Just because the same devs make another game doesn't mean you'll like it just because you liked one of their previous games.

Then you could have lowered the Uncharted TV audio from the options menu so you can hear ppl talk over it. I never had a problem listening to ppl & Uncharted TV through the headset even with the volume up.
The volume for Uncharted TV is so low the only way to hear it is through the headset (unless you turn up the volume on your TV which makes the gameplay much louder especially at the beginning of Airstrip (TDM). If you wanted to hear & talk to your friend then why didn't you just mute Uncharted TV? All you had to do is tap L2. Removing the Uncharted TV audio from the headset was stupid.
People actually think Agent is multiplat? lol
Maybe they're thinking of The Agency which is a canceled MMO that was for PS3 & PC. Sony initially wanted LA Noire but they saw Agent & paid for that instead. If Agent goes multiplat then Sony probably bought exclusive rights to GTA5 as Sony is getting an exclusive game from R*
