1440p needs less bandwidth and gpu power compared to 4k, do i really need to explain that?
@Christopher cut back resolution, and voila you need less gpu power. sit down, you're embarrassing yourself. You folks dont even know what you are saying, the gap between 1440p and 4k is huge, it takes a ton less gpu power to push 1440p. 1440p = 3.6 million pixels, 4k = 8 million pixels and 1080p is around 2 million pixels.
The series x is targeting more than twice the amount of pixels on screen, get that through your head.
@yomfweeee for $100 you go from jaguar to ryzen and you get a much better rdna 2 gpu, and third party games are what really drive Xbox and PlayStation. Games will be leaps and bounds better on the new hardware, it’s a no brainer. Price matters, but so does value. The value for the Xbox one and ps4 vs ps5 and Xbox series s just isn’t there.
I don’t understand how people are so dumb here, are you bots? Your argument is that exclusives come to the Xbox one for 2 years... who...
I don’t think you understand it, this is a 1440p console. It will be the same experience as the series x, but at 1440p instead of 4K. Nothing is being held back anywhere.
I don’t think Xbox one or ps4 can compete with it at all, the all digital ps5 is the competition.
The switch is on 🔥
Xbox one is 🧊
30 FPS on an lcd tv is awful, just bare minimum playable for a slow paced game really.
Nice! The more I see of this, the more insane game streaming becoming mainstream seems laughable.
They told us it was coming really.
We will have to wait and see, the xbox series x has better specs.
finally, these games are so much better at 60 fps (well pretty much every game is best at atleast 60fps)
Right, Im having so much fun playing the agent and bully 2. Be honest people, its too easy to call you out even if you have a point buried in your nonsense.
Well yes it did come out, but it was delayed many times before that genius. There was no backlash that entire time, so what is your argument? Rockstar has cancelled many games such as the agent by the way, so ya... try using your brain next time.
@nyu1 its out now, but it took forever and the online didnt launch day 1. It also had lots of issues at launch, and has been broken many times. Its a fantastic example, unless you are just too short sighted to see the game for anything but what it is now. I mean the game looked like crap when it first launched on ps4 pro (did they even fix it yet?).
I think Google is just waiting for the right time to cancel, and they want to figure out some way to keep the people who wasted money on it happy.
Barely, its only been 9 months since it came out. Ive noticed they certainly arent putting the marketing money into it anymore, thats the first sign its going away.
Ive tried it, found it completely unplayable just like any other streaming service. It might be ok for turn based games I guess, but im not buying a game I cant even store locally in any way shape or form.
Nothing can, game streaming is awful. Even local in house streaming via Ethernet is terrible. There are technical reasons why game streaming doesn’t work and video streaming does, but suits don’t seem to get it. Digital subscriptions are fine, and maybe some day we will have the game data stored elsewhere and the game processed on local hardware, but we aren’t anywhere near that.
Companies can AstroTurf, pay off websites, make awesome commercials and do whatever they want.....
It was a trend in hopes of getting lots of social media coverage, I think its died out. By all means though, devs should make whatever game they want, and if people dont like it they shouldnt buy it. Now if I was a shareholder I would be upset if a dev team limits their audience by going ultra political.
So it’s getting an animal crossing port?
