The article says it's the co-sleeping event that have been in previous games that will be toned down or removed due to "current times". It's not about children or rape, censoring those scenes should not result in toning all sexual content down.

I played "My Big Sister" last night and I liked the plot in that a lot! That was the last game I played that had a story I liked. I finished "Days Gone" a few days ago and the plot had me caring a lot more than I thought. Good stuff!
Team Sonic Racing is the first kart racer I've played outside of the Mario Kart games and I like it a lot. It's really fun! I see Sonic Racing Transformed getting a lot of praise so I may have to check that out now.

Me too. I really like trophy/achievements in games. It's a nice meta motivator to fully finish games. The portability of the Switch makes this a feature I really want!
It costs developers money when a game is delayed close to release to have content cut out. It also creates negativity around the games that can hurt sales since content being censored is a selling point.

Your solution for censorship is censorship? I'm not a fan of loli content but it doesn't feel like Sony is making a good move here. These games are rated by the ESRB and can (and do) release on other platforms without censorship. Sony is the only one with an issue. I feel the definition of "pedo" is being really stretched these days.
I'm really glad to see this being covered more. There is surprisingly little serious discussion on censorship around games. I see too many people writing censorship off as a non-issue because they don't care about the games being censored.
Games should be handled by rating boards and not the platforms applying standards they can't or won't define. No one countries games or genre of game should be unfairly targeted.

There's quite a few upcoming games that are being censored. Dragon Star Varnir, Neptunia RPG, Date A Live and Omega Labyrinth Life are all upcoming games censored on PS4. 3 of those are releasing on other platforms without censorship. Regardless of whether you find the content offensive you have to admit that Sony is being inconsistent. There's just as many uncensored games with similar content releasing on PS4 like the VN Our World Is Ended.

Yeah, it sucks the price is so high. It's out of my impulse buy range. I would love to buy these games again for the portability if they were a bit cheaper.
That's my one concern with Sony right now. Even if people don't think it matters, the censorship needs to stop. It matters to me. I love Sony, just got the plat for Days Gone, but I also love Japanese fan service games which actually make up the bulk of my purchases due to how many there are. Censoring them just pushes me to other platforms.
