I feel like Archer is a given.

My greatest regret is that I didn't back it when I had the opportunity. Although Konami abandoned my dear Castlevania, Iga will always be there to keep the magic alive.

I think history has proven that publishers will not stop milking customers dry if there is money to be made until they start losing money. That's how nearly every business decision is made: implement something that will make money regardless of whether it's anti-customer or not and only retract it if you start losing money.

Paid DLC and microtransactions will never stop until publishers see a significant drop in revenue, which will only happen when people get smarter....

The scariest thing about these costumes is the prices.

Can't even stress how important this is. There have been too many times where I saw a sale and I was blown away with all those great deals until I saw the euro sign.

If Nintendo wants to survive, it needs to be as powerful. If they want to be a strong competitor in the future, it needs to be significantly more. I'm not talking 8K res all games here (that's just not feasible), but 60fps 1080p per title should be the bare minimum. It is 9th gen, after all.

Yet another hilariously ignorant opinion from Kotaku. DarkOcelot already explained why this would be bad for the story, so I'll talk about mechanics. You see, any good game introduces new mechanics throughout the game instead of just all at the beginning. This is so that gameplay doesn't feel like a boring, repetitive mess. The game has an order and system in which you learn these mechanics, which should be paced evenly as to not overwhelm the player with too much new information at o...

I tried the demo for Legend of Legacy, and I really wanted to like it too, but with the basic plot, minimal dialogue, and unnecessary grinding, I just can't justify buying it. All I can say about it is that it's a poor man's Bravely Default with 1/10 of the quality and the same $40 price tag. Visuals are pretty nice, though.

Oh boy, here we go again. Look, I get it. Sony dropped support for the Vita and it doesn't get AAA games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss anymore. But that doesn't automatically make it dead. There have been some solid titles released for it in the past few weeks alone and third party Japanese and Indie devs cling to it like their firstborn child. Does it have the sales of the 3DS or mobile phones/ tablets? Absolutely not. Will this be Sony's last portable device? Probably. But is it ...

I asked Supergiant Games if Bastion would be cross buy with Vita, and they said yeah so I picked it up. I've already beaten it on Steam, but I just can't get enough.

It's sad to admit, but you're right. Christian Whitehead really did a great job with that port, capturing what was so great about the original while making it refreshing and new with his additions all at the same time. I don't understand why they didn't just use that version, as it would have been absolutely perfect with physical buttons instead of touch controls.

I'm inclined to agree :)

Bastion, Transistor, and the upcoming Pavilion are all isometric. Bastion was fantastic, Transistor was okay, and Pavilion shows promise.

All depends. If it's handheld, I try to go digital because I have too many memories of losing DS and GBA games. It's also more convenient to just bring the system than a carrying case. If it's PC, I go digital through Steam. If it's console, I go digital if it's small or indie and physical if it's large or AAA so I can save space.

Buddy, this is Brianna Wu. You can't expect someone like her to make rational points and arguments.

Still waiting on a sequel/ remake of Super Mario Sunshine, but alright. I swear, Nintendo is the king of missed opportunities.

Anyone know where I can find 3DS gameplay for this? I've only seen gameplay on other consoles.

I was hoping for Bastion when I saw Warner Bros., but oh well. Nothing for me with this sale.

It's definitely better than the older model, but there are other things to consider. There are only around 2-3 New 3DS exclusives (Binding of Isaac, Xenoblade Chronicles, and some racing game). The only games I know that use the ZL and ZR buttons are Azure Striker Gunvolt and Smash. It has a better processor, but games like Pokemon Omega Ruby/ Alpha Sapphire, which are known to have lag problems in 3D mode, have not been patched for the new models. The SD card is now a Micro SD that you n...
