Sweet; I've wanted Echochrome for a while but never got around to buying it. Glad to know I'll get to play it for free.
I never thought the Wii U was bad; I just think it failed to live up to its potential. Nintendo could have done a lot more with the console, but because of their outdated online and DRM policies, their need for innovation where it isn't necessary, and the fact that they keep making content no one ever asked for while not making content people have asked for, the Wii U suffered. It's a good system overall, and there are some really great games for it, but when you compare it to other c...

Well done; I'm sure you'll make a fair bit of revenue from this.
Nice. I'm looking forward to trying out Bloodstained's multiplayer features and additional content as well, but I'd much rather start with the single player campaign and save all of that for later.
Oh please let this be true. Spider-Man needs another genuinely good game. All of the recent games have been average at best, and if this is done well, I could see Spider-man games getting their own renowned trilogy/ series (like the Batman Arkham games). I have faith in Sucker Punch to produce a quality product, so I really hope this is more than a rumor.
Whatever the NX turns out to be like, I'm waiting until near the end of its life before I decide if I'm gonna buy it. There's no need to throw my money down immediately and hope for the best, but there's also no need to count it out immediately. I'm gonna wait and see how Nintendo's been handling the system after about five years or so.
Gamers... over-reacting? Well I'll be damned.
There's no need to reboot Borderlands; there were only like 3 main series games. Reboot something that's been around for a while and has a lot of games already, but isn't attracting a crowd like it used to. That's why the new Ratchet and Clank game works so well; there were several games later in the series, but going back to R&C's roots and re-introducing it to a new generation was a largely better decision than making just another sequel.
Try somet...
Reading news stories on N4G is starting to become depressing.
"Here's an obviously clickbait title with a controversial opinion."
"Here are obvious comments agreeing and disagreeing with the author."
It doesn't matter, man. If you're going to buy the Neo, buy it. If you aren't, then don't. At the end of the day, no one cares about how you choose to spend your money or what your opinion of the console market is.
That's makes things simple; if Amazon doesn't allow me to purchase what I want without Prime, I'll take my business elsewhere. They aren't a monopoly, and they don't have a strong enough hold on the market for this to have a truly beneficial effect. In fact, I can see other retailers and marketplaces taking full advantage of this decision in the future.
I'll watch someone else play a game if I'm interested in it, but I don't think it's worth purchasing. For example, I refuse to purchase any game filled with microtransactions. That's a large percentage of AAA games (as well as a few indie games) on the market. It's fun to watch a game being played and see how the story unfolds, and in this way I don't have to support those publishers/ developers.
Nice selection. I picked up Okami HD.
I don't know about Rogue Legacy. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the Vita's D-pad. It feels plastic-ey and my thumb occasionally slips around it. When I'm playing precision-platforming games like RL, I think the PS4's controller offers a better experience because of its superior D-pad. I'll still play the Vita port, though, and I won't deny that it was made well. I just don't think it was better.
This is pretty exciting. I loved Spider-man 2 for the PS2.. I hope it maintains the fun free roam aspects of that while adding some satisfying combat. We need web swinging similar to that game as well. If it's not Activision, there may be real potential here.
I'm dreadfully disappointed. I thought this game would recapture the gothic horror theme I've been missing after Konami gave up on Castlevania. The art was perfect; I especially loved the care given to lighting effects. The soundtrack fit well. I just don't understand how they could have messed everything else up. Wolf Brew Games, Slain!'s developers, boast 36 years of experience on their official Twitter page. What do they have to show for it? Terrible writing? Uninspired com...
Welcome to N4G, I guess.
I feel the same; the art was amazing, the soundtrack seemed badass... man, this is disappointing. I know the devs are working on fixing the issues, but this game could have been stellar on launch. I hope this doesn't affect sales later down the road if they do end up fixing everything.
Completely agree; when are people going to learn not to be so gullible? When are they going to learn that rumors aren't facts to go by until their given credibility by an OFFICIAL source (i.e. Nintendo themselves)? That's why I completely ignore all the rumor and speculation posts on this site. I don't care what someone says about what might happen. That's not news. I care about what happens.
You were right! It was just confirmed to be fake. All these people who were so sure it was real.. I hope they finally learn not to be so gullible. They probably won't, though.
5 editions for a game we know next to nothing about yet? I have to admit, that's pretty ballsy, Ubisoft.
