This makes sense. They're implementing so many things and the game is so expansive. It's coming to every current-gen system plus the PS Vita (which is a port I was sure they would cancel when they cancelled the Wii U port). The castle will also be the biggest out of all of Iga's games yet. If you just look at everything they're planning on implementing on their Kickstarter page, you'll understand why this project is taking so long: 3160d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
The most important time for a game's sales is its first week, especially its first day. Denuvo may have been cracked early, but Arkane and Bethesda still made that important initial money.
You can become addicted to anything. Gaming is just a potential medium for addiction.
Yay, Persona 3 Portable finally went on sale again. The other sales are really good as well.
The weakest sale of the four weeks by far, but not every sale can be good. I was hoping for Persona 3 Portable in particular, but oh well. There's always next week.
I appreciate this design philosophy. You should feel like you're struggling to survive in a survival game. Things shouldn't be handed to you; you should have to work to stay alive. Otherwise, there's no point.
Unfair? Seriously? No one told you to purchase the game day one. That was your decision alone. I mean what did you think was gonna happen? Did you really expect to get the full experience right out of the gate? This is a AAA game in 2016. Of course there are going to be patches, improvements, and post-launch DLC. I get that you're upset you didn't get to experience all that when you played it, but to even suggest that this is unfair... how entitled do you have to be?
Fez, The Legend of Dragoon, and maybe Megaman 8 for me. My Vita's been getting a lot of love lately. :)
Good. Wait, work on it, and produce a high quality game. AC: Syndicate was already pretty great with mechanics and gameplay, but the story was basically non-existent. Take time to write a decent story. Restart the entire series if you have to; I'd just like something that doesn't feel half-assed.
I really appreciate that they added folders, but the way they were implemented feels incomplete. For example, I wish I could pin folders in the order that I want. I made a folder for downloaded games, and another for demos. If I play a demo from the demo folder, it pushes that folder to the leftmost position. I want to keep demos to the right of downloaded games, but that isn't an option.
Aside from the above issue, when you sort items, there aren't pre-set sorting ...
I never thought I'd see the day. Guess we can pretty much kiss handheld devices goodbye soon. Mobile phone/ tablet gaming is here to stay, whether some of us like it or not.
Yeah, it has an amazing story and amazing gameplay. The characters are interesting, the dialogue is well-written, the world itself is amazingly detailed, and it's overall one of the best JRPGs I've played in a long time.
Also, the sequel just came out today. So it's the perfect time to buy it.
Yeah, this sale's pretty bleak. I guess they can't all be great. We'll just have to wait until next week. Hoping for more Vita game sales in the future...
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
I understand updating to prevent homebrew because Sony's a major corporation and that's what major corporations do, but it bothers me that they're threatening to ban PSN accounts over it. Especially considering the fact that homebrew doesn't allow for piracy of Vita games at all. It just seems way too extreme, especially considering the amount of money some people may have put into their accounts with digital content purchases.
It's actually concerning that they haven't announced anything yet. It's supposed to come out in less than a year, and we know next to nothing concrete about it. How do they expect this thing to sell well if they don't market it appropriately? We don't know the features, the specs, the launch price... we don't even know what it really is besides the fact that it's apparently unlike anything we've seen before. Nintendo's name and reputation can only carry sal...
I'd say the best JRPG is Persona 4/ Golden. It excels in every category: Soundtrack, character development, story, dialogue, mechanics, art, etc. Persona 5 looks like it's shaping up to be better though.
Of course, this is only my opinion. Finding a "best" JRPG is impossible because everyone has differing opinions and life experiences.
Time for me to buy Tembo the Badass Elephant :)
There have been several development updates on it. Just look at the official YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/cha...
There's also a video of pre-alpha gameplay at E3 here: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
But Zelda's perfectly fine, though. Right?
I'm not really salty, just a little bummed people won't get to re-experience (or perhaps experience for the first time) the magic that was Super Mario Sunshine. At least not officially, anyway.
