A dev on the game called the 2014 release "laughable". it was never going to release in 2014 being such a big project. Saying it was delayed is really saying Ubisoft overestimated the size of the project.
Why do they deserve a remaster?
No. Too late to the market imo. If anyone wants a console they'll get a PS4 or Xbone. If they want a PC they'll build a gaming PC. No exclusive games either.
Some remasters/HD are good for the industry in that it allows certain games to be available for a new platform e.g FF Type0, Kingdom Hearts 1.5,2.5 but the games that are less than 6 years old and are just a ps4 port are somewhat damaging the creativity in the industry.
It wouldnt surprise me with Ubisoft. I'm really looking forward to this game but releasing at the end of the summer would make me have serious doubts about the quality of the finished product.
Because Sony knows how to run their studios and their projects. You only want this because you're too impatient to wait. You'd be worse than EA when it comes to rushing deadlines. Games arent magically put together in an instant, it takes time, planning and work. The game has probably been redesigned two or 3 times in its development cycle.

So nevermind the fact they wont have a trailer/gameplay to show or even have a set date for it. Nah screw it just throw out a 2016 release even though it'll probably be delayed twice and say ...
So you're basing this on theory? The only sure way to get them is spend all your money on packs which is what EA wants you to do

Thats great for you but there are some people who will look for advice on these things of whether its worth it to buy it or not. If it doesnt interest you dont read it.
Another delay? When was the first delay and how can it be delayed if the release date hasnt been announced?
Remasters are not worth it if they are less than 6 years old. Final Fantasy X was a great remaster. Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider remasters were not needed.
With most reviews you are right but with the biggest games 90% of the time they go the opposite to everyone else in order to stand out and get more clicks and its far too obvious
I would love to see a remake of MGS but only for textures and graphics. Putting an open world mechanic into the game would ruin it I feel

For me a HD collection/remaster is only worth it if a) that game wasnt released for a certain platform(ps, xbox or pc) or b) the game is older than 8 years
The last time there was a SE survey they gave us a pin for the KH 2.5HD limited edition. So this means nothing to them.
I reckon if it was the other way round(keifer always been snake and hayter taking over) it would be the same reaction. People just dont like change.
Until they finish FF15 they wont be anywhere near finishing KH3. I reckon a vast majority of their programmers will be working on FF15.

But why a remaster? They are just basically a port. Graphics wise there will be little to no difference between the two. Arkham City is only 3 years old! Not much has happened tech wise to
deserve a remaster from these games. Its not like they were released 10 years ago when graphics werent as good.
