The only way to stop these tactics is A) Make defending better and B) stop making the game all about speed. Basically speed is king in Fifa. If you dont have speed you lose 19 times out of 20.
How can you possibly defend microtransactions!? optional or not they are a poison in the industry. I'd rather pay £5-10 extra for games than have microtransations in a £40 game

One of the worst games of the series because it was too 'MMO'. Only reason I'd buy the HD edition is for the achievement trophies.
I think he meant to say FFVII remake not FFXII. He says it with such a casual tone that it sounds as if its already announced and hes mentioning it. Plus if there was a remake/remater of it coming out theres no way SE would allow him to mention it.
I think a mixed battle style of XIII and VII would work well. Have the fact that its not random battles and when you bump into a monster it goes into a battle like XIII but have the turn-based/ATB battle system of VII. And then they can move around the enemy while attacking like XIII instead of just staying still like VII.
Definitely a placeholder sounds better if they say 2016 instead of 2017/2018. I'd put my life on it.

I would agree with realistic AAA games for release like why not Knack/Shadow Fall? 1.5 year old games that people would like to play and wouldnt cost sony that much since they own them. However some are VERY demanding and would want something like BloodBourne which isnt that long released and still selling copies. A bit unrealistic.
Also Rocket League is a fantastic addition to PS Plus and better than a lot of AAA games.

Maybe it was because 2014 was a shit year for games so there wasnt much to offer different to last year?
The main deals of the day were not bad I bought a few from that but the community sales were absolute crap! I think the best game I saw from them was Dead Space 2 and nothing else came close in terms of quality. And then they had the nerve to make us "work" for the sales by playing the game to unlock them. After the 2nd-3rd day I didnt bother anymore because it wasnt worth it.
Because then EVERYONE else on the internet will do the same to try and get a free copy and suddenly they'll have thousand of bottle caps!
The voice over was talking about the fans love for the game and the desire to see a remake. Its nothing to do with FFVII's plot.

EA more than likely didnt make this inclusion before because lets face it the core demographic for FIFA is men. They probably weighed the cost of making it against what they could make back by extra sales from female gamers who would buy it because of it and it didnt make financial sense at the time.
They probably came up with the idea to slowly bleed it in so the cost is not as big. Thats why we'll get international womens teams this year, clubs next year, ultimate team...
Much like the gamers and the whole "casual players v true gamers" argument its similiar to classical music. They look at game music as "casual" and not "true classical music". If the likes of Final Fantasy music doesnt change their minds nothing will.
