Dude...that sucks up so much resources from your PC. I guess it is fine if you are playing solitaire and maybe an indie game, but hell I close all my regular apps when I'm playing a game on PC. No way am I going to play AC: Odyssey and even something like Fallout 3 at the same time. Sure as hell don't think that is good on console.

Nothing I've read about the game puts it down as a 4 either. Edge can be a bit ridiculous sometimes with their reviews.
In that case, Sony has pressured Microsoft into major acquisitions, totally redesigning their console from what was launched, and pulling out every trick they can think of to find some sort of relevance.
If there was ever a company that was pressured more into action then it was Microsoft. Sony's changes of late PALE in comparison and most of it had nothing to do with Microsoft. PS Now's downloadable games....yes, probably in response to Game Pass. Cross play? No...

God of War was such a great game. Really loved all the systems in the game that elevated this God of War over all others. And then there is the superb writing, voice acting, and overall story. Just top notch stuff.

Then why was Microsoft bragging about 5 million players in Sea of Thieves in August? Which is exactly the point that you missed. These numbers do not represent the number of players "currently" playing the game. They represent the number of players who have played the game at any point for any amount of time. Those numbers are meaningless.

Yeah, the animations for Alexios looked bizarre in videos I saw before launch. The voice acting is just horrible. Kassandra feels much more natural as a character.

I'm one of those 2 million players (via Game Pass), but I've only been able to jump in for a few minutes to do some benchmarking on my PC. So many games out. Seems like a good number of folks playing though. That is good. It is a great looking game.

Yep. I moved earlier this year and my new ISP (Spectrum) does not have data caps. My old ISP (Cox) had a 1 TB data cap. That seems like a lot, but with three gamers in my house (myself and two sons) it really is not. So overage fees became a normal part of my cable bill. I can't imagine what it would be if I were streaming all my games. Imagine how much bandwidth would be used if I played Assassin's Creed Odyssey to 100% completion entirely through a stream. Not cool.
