Um they use Mickey everyday in all the theme parks....he doesn't have to be in mass media to not be used everyday. How many Christmas specials cartoons is he in, and yes Epic Mickey is the only videogame he's currently in.....but do they not sell Backpacks and Lunchboxes with Mickey.....can you not go to Toys r Us and buy a Mickey Mouse toy. What company would intentionally get rid of their franchise characters.....especially when they bring in millions of dollars? That's like saying Disney over uses Mickey Mouse. I say blame 3rd parties who abandoned the Wii due to the fact they couldn't come up with anything innovative enough to actually sell on the Wii. The only iniative 3rd parties had this gen was to do something in HD on other consoles........ well look where that got us. Oh and I forgot .......maybe make more games that aren't FPS's.

Who the hect is approving these articles lately???? Obviously since its compatible withWii remotes it has to work with classic controllers. No one needs to be told that ! We don't know for a fact that the Wii-U only supports one tablet....it may support two.....or maybe four but not likely. Retro/Nintendo are going crazy lately hiring everyone LOL. I think its good, but its so weird to hear Nintendo going on a hiring spree. I just hope all this new talent doesn't affect the current talent and spread the resources to thin. They must have some massive plans at Retro to be hiring all these free agent talents. Hopefully Wii-U will get some very hardcore games coming from Retro. I wish them nothing but the best and can't wait to see what gems they bring to the table.

They could, but lets look at Nintendo's history....they wouldnt include DVD playback function for Gamecube or Wii because they did not want to pay royalty fee's to anyone....especially Sony. Why would they now decide MS is worth paying for video chat. It would cost them less to produce their own video chat service in the long run :p Nintendo has always liked to own thier own tech and will only pay for things they can't make or don't know how to make. Its not just about giving him a dev kit people.......he needs a publisher to support the game. Someone has to finance the project. Its not just giving someone a dev kit and saying sure go to work. You need a company to pay for the project/people etc and be willing to market the game. Having a dev kit means nothing without having people working with you to create a title and having someone say they will publish it.
