The short answer is NO !!!!! Even if Vita when connected to a PS3 has similiar features its not realistic to assume everyone who has one device will buy both. Having to pay for both is not worth the price considering you will probably pay cheaper just for the Wii-U when its released. Plus, Wii-U games are being designed from day one to take advatange of the two screens and functions, while Vita and PS3 games are not. Does any Nintendo system need Mario........????? Well, look at how rough the 3DS started out, and then all of a sudden, 2 Mario games drop and the sales haven't stopped yet. Many may feel Mario is old and dated and Nintendo needs to put Mario on pause or retire him, but realistcally Mario is the face of gaming. I say the more they put in the better. It helps with the system in the future if you want to add new things to the system as time goes on. Giving developers more than they need now only helps them later on when other competitors systems do arrive in the future. I want to say its "future proofing" the system as it makes it able to be expanded upon later on if more memory is needed. I very much doubt the company is in any sort of disorganization at the current moment. They have all their in house studios working on content for Wii U's launch as well as continued support for 3DS.
Also they have all the major 3rd party studios producing "core" games for Wii U's launch so there should be no issues when it comes to support for the launch of that system.

I think this kind of confirms there must be support for 2 tablet controllers, if he was worried about the delay to the tablet controller. @ Garbage .... you are really trying way to hard to put Sony over right now. First you talk about Sony and how High-Tech their systems are and that's why you support them. That's interesting because when Playstation 1 came out they were very low tech compared to N64.....a few years later PS2 came out and it was very low tech to Gamecube. This game is the reason I bought a 3DS .....it is packed with content, single player and multiplayer, AR cards, weapon upgrades and even comes with a stand for your system. Good to see an old friend return after a long hiatus :-)
Maybe they can be like Coins, Starmen, Mushrooms and Fire Flowers.....coins would prob be best though, as you can collect 100 to get 100 % instead of just a Starman Trophy etc. What does everyone think ?
