Borderlands 1 was the best co op game I have played this generation. I was one of the lucky ones because I got to play the full game and every mission with 3 of my other buddies. It was a lot of fun and totally worth the money.
Borderlands 2 is one of those games where I can say I have no problem paying 60bucks for it on day one. It seems like theres going to be a lot more cool environments and a variety of enemies.
I actually live really far away from my bes...
Still doesn't make up for the terrible spawns that we will see, but hey...thats my opinion. The map looks pretty nice though
The game barely has any good music to set the mood.
The environemnts stay pretty much the same throughout the whole game with almost no variety in colour pallets.
Its going to feel like a dull generic FPS game if you play it single anyways so ya....co op is pretty much the way to go for these types of games.
For me, no matter how generic a game is, I can still manage to have fun shooting things if I'm with a buddy.
Maybe I'll wait year or so, and get Gold Edition because I know for a fact they will release it again with a different coloured sleeve. Plus it will come with all the overpriced DLC.
People need to give this game a chance, its really that good!
I know the first one doesn't really float everyone's boat, but the sequel will blast you out of your socks. The story telling, characters, gameplay is much more refined this time.
I really enjoy the MW campaigns. I like them because, even though they're generic military shooters, I feel as if the MW games have the best "generic military shooter" campaigns.
I just love the slick design of the game, with its slick weapons, "cool" generic characters and such. When I play it, it really feels like Im in a middle of a war, and it makes me wonder if this is how it would look like if WW3 really happened.
The first leve...
What engine is this made on? In terms of presentation, it really reminds me of crysis2. I'm referring to the environments and stuff. But not bad, it looks nice.
I love the fact that the HUD is so so immersive. Theres never a reading screen, its all within the game. I mean look at the gun, it shows the ammo capacity and everything. All the info is just amazingly transitioned with the game universe. I like that, its kind of what Dead Space did.
It felt as if the support for the original PSP came too late. By then, everyone was already holding a Nintendo DS because of all the variety in quality games that it had.
But the Vita is at the advantage now when it comes to launch titles and upcomming games, in my opinion.
It just needs a bit more consumer support.
Now that I look at it, there were actually a decent amount of cool movie based games. Even though they're made for quick bucks, I actually managed to think of some from the top of my head.
Bugs Life (PS1)
Aladdin (PS1)
Hercules (PS1)
Toy Story Racing (PS1)
Monsters Vs Aliens (Wii)
You're saying it like its a bad thing, but the fact is that FF was the better series because it innovated more.
Of course its not possible.... with that kind of attitude!
Just give it to a different developer, they'll refine the gameplay, and the graphics.
What makes you think I don't like being advertised to buy more games? The super smash bros series is a good example of in game advertising. Without Smash Bros, I wouldn't have gotten into Zelda, Metroid, FZero, Earthbound, etc.
I like being advertised "in game."
Nintendo, please take my money because you DESERVE it.
The first reviews are ALWAYS 9/10, or 10/10 reviews, even for really crap games...
I'm waiting for actual reviews to come out, not paid ones
ACCIDENT DOUBLE POST, won't let me delete
Alan Wake: Microsoft's Nightmare
I hope Nintendo rapes them to death with a lawsuit.
Although Marvel Vs Capcom 3 was considered a half assed presented game, I still thought the gameplay was fantastic! Never played a fighting game so smooth before. Dark Souls Was amazing as well.
As for this year, lets see, FF13-2 sucked. But we have 3 Resident Evils though. It seems to be that Capcom are the only guys that are going all out with their titles.
Well let me tell you people that I'm a MW fan because I love the setting of the modern day warfare, WW3 and all that stuff. I think it looks really slick and its well done in the CoD series.
But I'm not a fanboy that buys every CoD game out there. Although I also have been wondering about this. I am a fan of this series and I believe the fans deserve a new engine
Well the resistance games got me buying them day one...
When ever the first review comes out, its always a 9/10 or 10/10 game. Its never honest, believe me.
Wait till all the other reviews come out, its going to be getting 5s and 6s seeing how generic this title is.
