These are the geniuses behind the Spiderman game for PS1! That game was like the batman arkham asylum for Spiderman games, does anyone not realize? This could be the first CoD game with actual innovation for once
There is no way this game is that bad. If a game is at least fun to play, it should get credit. And although this game has it's problems for its' online play and all, but the single player offering is very fun to play!
Thou not learn from Capcom?
I remember when Crysis 2 came out, and to be honest, it looked nothing special. Especially on consoles, it looked very mediocore on the PS3.
Am I the only one that feels that they should improve the combat animations? They look very clunky no offence.
Nintendo has more history with their fighter franchise than this new studio does, and its going to take them more than just "lovable characters" to make the game better than Smash Bros.
If you think about it, Nintendo has been making SSB games for over 10 years now. They've had enough time to perfect their combat system, with 3 iterations. Also look at how much content SSB has. It has months of unlockable content.
I know we haven't seen as m...
Guys relax, its not like anyone is actually going to listen to him...
Violence sells, and believe me I buy lots of it. And I will continue to buy them.
Some of the best games I've ever played have actually a lot in common from other series. The Resistance games are an example, they take a lot of gameplay elements from other game series and combine it into one fun package.
KB doesn't even work for Sony anymore. Why the heck would they put him in the game when he is pretty much going to be non-existent for the future of the Playstation brand?
Also, I do feel your pain for those who want Spyro and Crash in the game, but the problem is that Sony doesn't own those characters anymore, they belong to Activision.
But I just hope the character from Medievil is in it.
Thats not a good thing, because all that means is grinding, grinding, grinding, grinding, grinding, grinding, grinding....
Hey, I'm not the biggest DQ fan out there, but I still kinda like it. Its just that, the gameplay really is shallow.
In my opinion, DQ series is equivalent to the CoD series in a way. I know they're different genres but they're both very shallow in terms of gameplay, and its pretty much the same gameplay every release, and it...
9 dislikes says you should be sure on the idea :)
In my opinion, the FPS genre needs a risk taking move like this. This could leave a landmark in gaming's history. Could you imagine how everyone would react when a "big muscle" game like BF3 adds a dinosaur mode into the game? Sure there's going to be haters, but I believe that the majority would adore the idea simply because its "unique, different," and adds personality to BF3. And believe me, afte...
I think their best advert is the "michael" commercial.
The FPS genre needs an innovation like this, especially in these big muscle games like BF3. I'm sure it'd be lovable and successful. Look at Zombies mode from WaW, that started a trend for survival modes in shooter genre.
If this is actually being developed and is successful, it could change the shooter industry and inspire other devs to do this wacky crazy stuff.
YES! Finally, we will recieve an FPS that is actually innovative!
Wait, but according to the charts, BO2 has recieved more preorders in it's first week than MW3 has in its whole course...what gives? This article is messed.
I hope he quits and joins a different team or starts his own business. He's a big name in the industry, so it is possible for him to get a job in just about any japanese development team.
I respect Respawn Entertainment aka old IW for leaving Activision's greedy hands. Its for their own good, and gives them the creative freedom and power to make what they believe in.
@kevnb
Oh man, I hope you never get a job in the video game industry as an "adviser", you have the worst suggestions. Please stay away from our games lol
Nope, I disagree, the fact that games are becoming more and more realistic along the years of the industry is a good thing.
How can you really feel like you're a part of an alien invasion if theres no game capturing that "true" feeling of it? I can see where you're coming from but you don't have to worry. There will always be games that try to capture reality and those that's main priority is "fun factor." Thats what makes gaming a hobby w...
Ugh, I cant get over that horrendous box art....
Well, if EA is going to continue to force out non-horror, co-op Dead Space games, then I hope the Dead Space franchise ends after the 3rd game because I cannot bear to see this beloved franchise turn into something it's not.
