I completely agree with you! Violence is the answer!
I actually lost my interest in this game. I know this sounds displeasing to read but hear me out first. I feel as if there are too many outside party characters and not enough Playstation oriented characters. I mean, the guy from Tekken? What about that little cat character, really? I don't know anyone who is dying to play as him.
I feel like character choices are a big part of this game, but there seems to be a big emphasis on third party characters...
Now I just feel as if they're trying to cover up the fact that the final product still won't be a scary and atmospheric experience.
I don't mean to be rude, and I know this is a really fun and nostalgic game but it is by far the weakest in the series. I feel that Metroid Prime and Metroid ZERO Mission were among the best in the series.
Dude, if black 2 came out nowadays it would get bashed and stashed to the death. Look what happened to bodycount. Did that game receive well with the critics? Nope. Its because that sort of gameplay is frowned upon nowadays and won't do well in the market either. It wouldn't even be looked upon as a hidden gem.
If they make their FPS game, I truly hope they will do more than a military shooter.
These guys are very creative and I feel like it is expected for them to jump into a project that is filled with unique ideas to help make an experience that worth fishing in the oceans of FPS games.
Maybe an apocalyptic shooter with cool alien-like weapons and creepy giant bosses to fight?
If this is just a military shooter, then I have pretty much lost all r...
I have a feeling that the WiiU version will possibly be the best version aside from the PC version of course.
Either way, good graphics will not save a game if the story and gameplay are shit. Crysis 2 proved that.
The one that comes to mind most is the tripping for SSBB.
I don't think most hardcore gamers even play with the whole family. At least I don't. Probably because my parents hate video games with a passion lol No worries, I still love them.
Oh my gosh, in the second image, there is a plane crash in a jungle, UC1 much?!
Oh well, still looks a lot of fun. I mean, I love Uncharted, and I also love FPS games, so the mix seems good in this one.
I don't understand how thats true, since they were the ones known to start the whole zombie craze. Unfortunately they're piloting in the wrong direction with the RE series
Even for CoD fans, it's not a very good game. The game in my opinion (after the patches) has very good balancing now. But the online is completely ruined because the maps are all horrendous.
That is probably the worst list I have ever read in my life. No self respecting gamer would ever put Haze on their list. Thats like a public embarassment.
I'll be gaming till the day I die :D
I totally agree with you. Actually, for me it was on the PS3 and the graphics looked very mediocore compared to other games out there like Uncharted, KillZone, Resistance3, etc. I was like "so these are the so called praised graphics that I've been missing out on? Pffft!"
Not only that, but the gameplay was severely broken on the PS3 version. Completely unacceptable Crytek...
I definitely loved Resistance 1 and 3's box art. They portrayed the actual games very well.
I also adore FZero on the SNES box art as well.
I'd say movies have the bigger impact.
But don't worry guys, it's not like video games will be banned because of this. I've studied criminology at my college and it's proven that video games and entertainment do more good than bad.
To VanillaBear:
Finally good to see someone with brains.
After playing over 3 months of MW3, I can safely say that MW3 has set the record for WORST maps in an online shooter in the history of gaming. The only map that is actually good is Hardhat. The rest are garbage.
I only played because I like the CoD gameplay, but the maps just ruined it for me. Thats why I sold it.
There have been many other things like this where companies have had blue prints of their new console. Even Sega were making a DreamCast2, and 2 versions of it apparently. But they never came out.
But apple is a different story. If they can cash in on phones and ipods, I'm sure they have a big enough audience for console gaming.
