Yeh an extreme choice of words I'd say - but I'd also say I'm really liking it so far, and yes I love the series and it's roots ala resident evil, but still really liking it despite the changes.
So many publishers are forcing their own ideas on the actual game developers more and more as this console generation is nearing its end. As we've seen its been biting most of them in the ass.
Hopefully these publishers will learn from their mistakes and allow more breathing room for the developers in the next generation of consoles.
Much better combat - the series only real weak spot in my opinion but an important one nonetheless.
You might want to push some games aside for Arkham City...
I'd love to hear that they've magically reworked The Last Guardian to be a PS4 launch title.
It HAS been a long time since we've seen it.
In defense of the devs, it's not their fault. Publishers and their investors are the ones that try and suck every drop of blood from us.
Game Boy version wins hands down.
Also don't want to get my hopes up but I will crap buckets of blood (in a good way) if they reveal it on the 20th.
I bet the publishers and devs with releases in March breathed a huge sigh of relief when they heard the news.
I'm actually going through Deus Ex again right now, saw your comment and thought the same thing - and this is coming from someone who loves stealth games.
I'm not saying Splinter Cell WILL pull it off but it can definitely be done.
I'm doubtful but hopeful for a Sucker Punch launch title. New IP or infamous 3 would be nice though.
Even though Ninja Theory gets a lot of hate from the hard core DMC fans I'd like to see a new Heavenly Sword as a PS4 launch title too since the original was a launch title and it was a 'goodun.
Yep I bought Hitman and Deus Ex for I think around 10-15 bucks each on Steam. That's a steal.
He probably feels reborn now. I'm sure we'll see that old Rare magic return because Sony will most likely give him the freedom he didn't have at MS.
I almost want to get it just because it's Double Fine but I haven't seen too many glowing reviews for it.
Stock Broker Simulator hell yes!
Yep same here. I was actually going through Batman Arkham City again (but on pc this time) and then jumped into DmC. It's nice looking for what it is but boy am I worn out on the UE3 engine.
Darksiders 1 and 2 both show me that Vigil is a team with great potential.
This makes me sad.
THIS is exactly what the Wii U needs more of. Looks fantastic.
Awesome awesome awesome. Loved Wind Waker and it looks beautiful remastered. Can't wait.
Pre-ordered mine on Steam. Anyone know if Steam releases when street dates are broken?
