You can pretty much get past anything difficult with the on demand powers you have to spend coin (not real cash) on but I think those powers kind of kill what made the first PvZ so great. It also sucks that one of my favorite plants (the ice plant) is available by purchase only.
I loved the first game but this 2nd one is just missing what made the original so great.
Up until Shadow of the Colossus there wasn't much game music that really stood out to me since the early days of mega man, Zelda, and Metroid.
I think back in pre-cd/dvd days they were forced to be as creative as possible due to the limitations of the hardware which is why so much of the best game music comes from back then.

I dunno where they'd go with it gameplay-wise. I'm having fun which is always important but I think the super power mobility killed all of the efforts they put into the vehicles.
Unless it's mission specific there's just no reason to use a vehicle when traveling on foot (and air) is faster.
Besides all of the other cool stuff mentioned I like the little feature of watching death matches and races on the tv in your apartment.
I can't even begin to imagine how many total hours I'll end up clocking playing this game.
I even got a sexfu*kteen pop up visiting the pages of that article. Avoid.

Yeh I always beat a games sp campaign first and then move on to the mp - and secretly hate people that skipped the sp and have the jump on me!
Skies of Arcadia was easily one of my most memorable Dreamcast games. Awesome game.
Most of us (especially pc gamers) have been looking for a hl3 announcement for so long it's become sickening. Maybe just MAYBE they'll announce it soon to coincide with the new consoles. Half-Life's home is obviously pc but you know damn well they want to profit off of the larger console market.

Every new mmo on the horizon always claims game-changing stuff but never lives up to it - but I've gotta say I'm buying into the hype of this one.
What they've shown really has peaked my interest, especially the destruction.
Amen for the wall. Maybe this will force them to innovate. I used to like COD a long time and several games ago. It would be nice if it became good and new again.

Has any mmo besides WOW ever had a tv commercial? My visibility is limited to US tv as I'm sure Korea has had plenty.
Anyone played the beta? I tried world of planes but wasn't a fan of the death match style versus a more mmo'ish layout. This game nearly the same or a little different?
