I feel like the lengthy life cycle of this now previous gen is what gave it legs - but yeh its already apparent its sticking around.
I personally want new innovative stuff but the remasters are good for those no-new-stuff spells - and as mentioned great for people that may have missed the unmissables.
I never played the mod but I've been 'hurtun to play the stand-alone for a while now and your nice little description made the wait worse ha.

There was a 3rd person one on the wii (i think it was tecmo) but it was kind of a let down imo. The originals and the prime series are where its at.
Ill disagree but mention my friend had the same opinion as you. It might only appeal to people who find space and the idea of inifnite space appealing.
The idea that everything you see is a fully explorable destination sounds awesome to me.
Isolation and desolation surrounded by random encounters - that's the heart of space sci fi and this looks like it nails its.

Have to agree with on Soul Calibur and its early days. Those fights with friends were so intense. At times we felt like we were on the virge of a heart attack from all of the adrenaline.
Its a great series that needs some justice.

Its decent enough fun but yeh its no GOTY. I like the heavy emphasis on the ship gameplay but DAMN they need to do a total overall of the free running.
They made it a little better with the previous one but there are still so many problems with your assassin grabbing the wrong thing or leaping to the wrong spot at the worst time possible. More tweaks won't cut it. They need to start from scratch when it comes to the free running.
You left out the original counter-strike ;) CS with the awp, good stuff.
I'm thankful for nothing. My wife left me a week ago and took our 4 year old with her to live 8 hours away. My house is in foreclosure and I can't find a job. Worst Thanksgiving ever.

It all stems from the Windows infamous Blue Screen of Death, which doesn't necessarily mean it's ruined for good. I think being that MS makes Windows and the Xbox, the Green Screen of Death is more than fitting.

I wish they would include the ability to join the same squad or even team from the pre-game lobby. Ridiculous that it wasn't implemented from the start. They rushed it just to beat COD out of the gate.
Ha yeh I played it maybe 80% through and was just done with it. I tried to like it because I like the top-down xcoms so much but this one was a stinker. Decent ideas but very poorly implemented.
Oh video games are just a fad. Before you know it there will be no more consoles and people will just be playing checkers and twister.
