Yeh that's one of the many things I love about the series. They have some really thought out serious stories but Kojima throws in the lighthearted silly stuff to give the players a break from the drama.
R.I.P. link.
I know its a different engine and a different team than watch dogs so hopefully it will be better optimized despite being under ubisoft. It sure does look great visually and gameplay-wise.
"Concerning deaths, they need to implement many death animations to deal with the tedium that comes from dying alot."
Agreed, I died on purpose a number of times during the dead space games just for the different death animations. Little things like that from devs can go a long ways.
I liked it alright but it was a little heavy on the street fighter fan pandering sometimes - and the guy that played Ken can't act.
Ill always have hope with every new aliens game despite the pitiful track record. The franchise has such great potential its a shame no ones really been successful making it into a game.
What we really need is Jerry McGuire The Game. It would have me at hello.
It reminds me of counter-strike which is a good thing but combined with the destruction and it being rainbow six that has me really excited.
NO one and I mean NO one breaks into Chuck Norris!
I suspect and sure hope its just an incorrect rumor because I wouldn't want any other team doing it. Team ICO's games are so unique no one else would do TLG justice.
Half-Lafe 3 + Valve's VR = soiled pants
I'd use his testimony against someone who thinks games can't be art.
With your words you may have just become flagged by the NSA ;)
I miss the old days before patching existed and they actually did exhaustive testing before launching a game - referring to both pc and consoles.
The lack of multiplayer may also be why the single player is so good. They didn't have to split their resources or put any money into hiring someone else to do multiplayer.
Maybe this is why we've heard nothing official about Half-Life 3. Maybe just MAAAYBE they only want it to be experienced with their VR.
I like or love all of the games you listed as well as DA - from your list I'd guess its the combat that you mainly don't like? Maybe the ability to basically freeze time to make tactical decisions (and aim)? If you liked mass effects combat though that rules that theory out ;)
They left out tailing missions...
Yeh I certainly wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was with it being a Wolfenstein game. The great team behind this one did the trick though and I loved it. Very solid game all the way around and the great (emotionally-timed) music surprised me the most.
While the music (selection) is subjective I'm with you on hating that part of the game. It has veeeeery few songs I like if I could even use the word like. I'd take the selection from any gta or even saints row over watch dogs' selection. It also doesn't help that I just finished Wolfenstein that had its own excellent soundtrack.
I would love to see what Miyamoto is capable of if he tried his hand at an adult game. Not saying violence or porn or anything like that, but just something more adult-themed. Just one game.
