And so many entitled whiners act like the devs are total scum when a game gets delayed by only a few weeks.
I really enjoyed the demo too but unfortunately with psvr (and all it's launch titles), civ6, bf1, mafia 3 and everything else I'm gonna have to put this one on the backburner. Really did like it though. Seems like the kind of thing I could dump hundreds of hours into.
So close. My wallet and my gamefly queue are getting hammered by this!
It's almost here. Been wanting VR since I was a wee lad. I hope I don't find out something randomly stupid like my head is too big and I can't use it.
Does anyone know if VR sickness and people that experience motion sickness in cars go hand in hand or is VR sickness a different beast?
I haven't pulled the trigger on purchasing this yet only because of the DRM risk to my SSD and reading what it did to your HDD has pretty much set my decision to "NOPE".
That BS is just ridiculous. They're so concerned with DRM that they are ruining people's hardware.
Actually makes me feel sorry for the devs. They worked hard on the game and want it in the hands of as many people as possible but the greedy MS sticks the DRM right u...
The last quarter of this year is going to be such a great time to be a gamer. Been looking forward to this one not mention all of the other great games due before the end of the year.
Just remember savescumming is your friend! Save ironman mode for your 2nd playthrough ;)
Man I thought the ol sphere grid was great. Seen similar progression systems pop up in other games and I'm always glad to see it.
It's ironic that our legal system in the U.S. is so criminal that it allows stuff like this to even make it past the front door.
This is why we see so few tech tests. Too many people totally overlook the fact that it is a technical test and not the final product. You can't blame dev's for being hesitant to put these tests out when they get so much backlash and potentially lose future sales because of consumer ignorance.
This is really going to be special. Man I can't believe it's actually finally coming out.
@S2Killinit
That's exactly what I'm hoping for. I'm jaded as hell these days and games that surprise me are extremely rare. Really hoping VR will bring back a little bit of the magic.
Yeh I read it but I've had issues with Hi-Rez since Tribes Ascend. I played the hell out of it but they made so many questionable decisions and did the same kind of crap with Smite which I also played a lot of. It might be biased of me but I have to lean more towards them being the thieves here over Blizzard.
Have any pc invitations lying around? ;)
Yep me too. Signed up the day they revealed it at e3 last year but never got an alpha invite. Bummer.
This is a as bad as that Chinese Overwatch rip-off only it's Hi-rez making it. Sad.
Posted on N4G AFTER the deadline of 12:00 PM. Niiiiice.
Hard to believe it's not even a month away.
I've played about 3 hours of it now and I'm really liking it. Hard to believe I'll give it anything below a 7 by the time I'm done with it. So far the story is pretty interesting, the driving feels really good and the gunplay is fun enough thanks to how the enemy reacts from hits.
Just don't see this game earning anything as low as a 5. The 30fps cap sucks but I can live with it - even though I hope it gets patched soon.
