First multiplayer Ive cared to play since Left 4 Dead. Love it :)

Im definitely not young and Ive been gaming since the atari 2600.I said me3 as a guess at bare minimum without doing side quests and the extra stuff it would prolly be 20-30 hrs. I finished me2 at around 35hrs doing everything possible in the game and as I understand me3 is longer so Im guessing 40-50hrs. Thats more than long enough for an rpg imo. I spent over 100hrs playing Skyrim but its side quests are so cookie cutter I got sick of them and just finished the game. Mass Effect has Skyrim ...
If you beat me2 in 14hrs then you apparently skipped a lot and didnt bother mining and exploring. My first playthrough was 35hrs and even following playthroughs were nowhere near as low as 14hrs. Bioware has already said me3 is longer than me2.
At a bare minimum and I do mean avoiding any side quests I will guess this game is 20-30hrs which is more than enough game time for $65 when you consider all the other mainly singleplayer $65 dollar games (vanquish, darkness 2, homefront, syndicate and more) that are at most 6hrs long. And people are crying about having to pay for additional content at launch? C'mon. This is going to be a meaty game.
I loved the original Planetside and would love to play this one but I dont think my current system will be able to handle it sadly.

Yeh some of the tech theyve been getting into like player-mental-state monitoring, and given their track record with great games and Steam I would put a lot of faith in them pulling off something unique and awesome.
Very ambitious. Really looking forward to this one.
What bothers me is the shorter and shorter games trend. 4-6hr single player campaigns are becoming too common now and reviewers give them a free pass on that because they get the game for free, meaning they dont have to pay $65 bucks for a very short game, unlike the actual consumers who are getting less and less bang for their buck. Robbery I tell you! Robbery!
Id worry about the fact that the psn store updates so late sometimes. Sure it'll release on 3/6 on psn but while everyone else has been playing it all day you have to wait till anywhere from 5pm to 9pm in order to even start downloading it. Psn really needs to update much earlier in the day.

Love Walking Dead. LOVED the Mass Effect 3 trailer. I got crazy chills and watery eyes seeing it.
I really tried to like this one and thought I would but 45hrs in and I just couldnt do it anymore. It feels like an mmo with no one to play it with. It may just be me, but I think the biggest problem was the cartoonish designs (just a matter of taste), like its trying to be world of warcraft, only its singleplayer.
I was sad at first when reading the original composer wasnt involved but then immediately happy to read the composer for Dexter would be doing it. Thats good stuff...
Yep Darksiders was awesome and I think Vigil was really just getting warmed up. Darksiders 2 is looking and sounding even better.
I just hate to see when good devs end up making an exclusive game for the Wii. Would have really liked to have seen this one on 360 or ps3. I just dislike my non-hd muddy graphics wii too much to even get games on it anymore.
