I really had no evidence but I think we can now see that indeed there is something funny with these reviews.
Halo 3 came out and was a great game but not without it's faults and got by with a few negative things said about it, KZ 2 by all accounts seems to set the bar higher in most areas and is getting picked apart.
It is really sad to see the state the video game media is in today.
These double standards are getting a bit tiresome. Logic dictates that if you have ANY skills at a FPS then you should ramp up the difficulty accordingly. That is like me having taken a calculous class at college going back to 5th grade and complaining that the problems were too easy, it just doesn't add up (Pun intended).

I never heard of split screen bots offline. That is news to me. I have been following this game religiously for a while and can't remember seeing that.
What is with the conflicting reports of the game's length? Is it 5 or 10 hours long? I suspect something funny going on with the reviewers possibly related to the difficulty they are playing the game on.
A shame that they don't divulge that information during their reviews, I guess they would rather be less than honest than risk looking like amateurs. Go figure.

I think there are two questions that need to be asked, 1 how relevant is GTA4 DLC now, a game that in my opinion lost something compared to its predecessors, how many people still find this DLC relevant? 2 Halo or not how popular is an RTS to the general hard core or casual market to become a best seller and to be honest Halo Wars hasn't seemed to be generating nearly as much buzz as its FPS counterparts of past years.

I remember back in undergrad we would play Halo and bet money, the problem was I didn't own an XBOX and I liked my controllers inverted but that wasn't always possible when you are playing with at least 15 to 20 people to go each time you are up and change the layout. Since Nintendo is only in the console market while Sony and MS sell other things and are competing in other areas wouldn't it be safe to say that it is a bit hard to compare Nintendo to these two companies. It just seems like the stocks of a company reflect the performance of all their products as a whole and not just one section such as the video game division.

All in all I enjoy playing this game a lot, and to see that they are not completely ignoring the problem makes me a bit more forgiving about the rocky launch.
Its too bad many will read the current reviews and write off this game as something other than what it is, a great tactical shooter with tons or reply value.

What's with the fog? Is there a sniper rifle in this game or is it more of a close combat type of focus? Quite honestly, and correct if I'm wrong, it seems like EPIC has sacrificed view distance for close up detail.
Can't tell how good the graphics are in this video due to the poor quality, however the game play does look solid. The fog is disturbing tho......
On a side note, I don't see how people compare this to R2, they are two different kinds of shooters, kind of funny ...
2k working hard and taking pride in their product, much less than I can say for Valve and their PS3 version of Orange Box, they should take notes about putting up or shutting up.
And before any smart A$$ points out that EA made the PS3 version of Orange Box I already know, but Half Life is a Valve IP no matter who they whore the development out to so they (Valve), in my opinion hold the burden of taking pride in the stuff they put out with their IP linked to it.
When pro 360 "journalist/ bloggers" argue for the 360 they always talk about the "size" of their library rather than the quality of the games in said library. Pound for pound I believe that the PS3 has the most quality games released, it's the case of quality over quantity. And they only mention 2 games that the 360 has as proof that it has stronger exclusives.
Let's hope Gears 2 and Fable 2 are enough because Sony has a killer lineup this holiday season.
