@esmittystud101 "If you wana play something B.C. thats ported, good for you. I'll take a remaster any day."
This statement shows how uneducated you are on remastered vs BC. Most (of not all) remasters this generation are ports. BC titles are being emulated through software to simulate the Xbox 360 architecture so you are playing the original version.
@Optimus true HDD space can be rough, glad for the external hard drive support. I hooked up a 2 TB drive awhile back and I still have to manage it carefully...must be buying too many games.
@Abash, looking at your comment history of pro PS4 comments and inflammatory MS comments I'm not surprised you would feel this way.
For everyone else that is enjoying their Xbox One the trickle of BC titles has been pleasant and the fact that the 2 monthly games with gold are also BC has been awesome.
Lol, well said!
I feel your pain...if the article mentions Dark Souls it has already secured my click.
Things tend to look faded and out of focus when you view them through fanboy eyes.
So they're remaking KOTOR into an elder scrolls game with lightsabers basically. Might be interesting but definitely not the gameplay I would hope for in a new KOTOR game.
@Eiyuuou I completely agree with you there, I never liked adaptability, or at least the fact that adaptability was the only stat the impacts your frames during rolls. It should also be impacted by other stats as well kinda like how max HP is impacted by multiple stats, but vitality gives you the biggest jump.
People need to get over this love of discs. I haven't bought a single physical game since November 2013. I love it, its extremely convenient to preload digital games and boot them up at launch before my buddies are back from the GameStop midnight release.
Also I love being able to instantly switch games without swapping discs. I've been playing through the Dark Souls 2 remaster and last night got an invite to play Battlefield, and I instantly loaded it up after acc...
I thought the exact same thing when I read that. Maybe the author neglected to level up adaptability thinking it was useless, or they just had bad timing and lack of understanding how many frames you are considered invincible during a roll animation.
I never felt DS2 was unfair at all.
That said it looks like DS3 is more in line with the first game in the series combined with some of the speed seen in Bloodborne.
Am I the only one that wants Ghostbusters to be added as a BC title?
Always wondered who I should thank for those!
Are you suggesting there's some sort of bias against MS on N4G? I can't even imagine, what an absurd thought!
Obligatory /S
MS isn't developing the game, Remedy is.
Then get the Xbox version
Your hard drive transfers data faster than can be read from a disc, wish is why installs are required on PS4, X1 and PC. Not sure if the Wii U requires installing out not as I don't have one.
Well for all those who didn't see it coming you must not understand how much space a high definition video takes up on a disc. Especially considering the show is tailored by the choices you make in the game. There's just no way it would all fit on one disc.
I dropped my cable shortly after getting my X1 so I stream and download all of my media, the streaming of this episodic content will fit right in. I'm also all digital this gen, haven't bought a single disc...
Dear author, did you play Assassins Creed Syndicate? It was a really good game and the series doesn't deserve to be on this list. Resident Evil has made a lot of changes in the right direction (not 6) and still has a lot of promise.
Did anyone not expect this?
If I hadn't already preloaded Dark Souls 3 I would definitely be joining you in trying this out.
Good luck!
