It's not valid to compare marketing children's movie characters to Doom, which is clearly intended for an adult audience.
Will children play the game, yes. Is it made for children, no.
Either you're making a joke or you clearly don't understand what Cliffy B is doing.
Also Lego Star Wars launched on BC...I think that was for Star Wars day but maybe it was already BC?
Lmao, you beat me to it!
After all the bashing MS has received over the X1 being inferior hardware I'm sure they are working to be known for putting out the best hardware now and this seems like it may really improve the end users experience with VR and AR
If you want to be a conspiracy theorist about UWP that's fine, no one is forcing you to use it.
And doesn't the PC master race prefer to game on Linux anyway? That was the bread and butter of PC gaming back when I was a PC gamer. Or use the Steam OS. No one is backing you into a corner here.
And same thing goes for Epic. If they don't want their games on UWP then don't release through them. Windows is not the only operating system out ...
Sorry but I can't get excited for Nintendo products any longer.
Very
@SavingPvt_Highon it's all a matter of perspective. I haven't shown off my library of games since the mid nineties.
Being the only income in my family I'll be in a bigger ditch than selling used games could ever help dig me out of if I lost my job. Although once my wife finishes her program that will hopefully change.
I don't have a Playstation so I don't worry about PSN getting hacked. I have all the receipts that MS emailed me for eve...
Yes, you and me are in the same boat.
I feel ya, the last time I bought from GameStop it was the last "new" copy they had, so of course it was the copy all the employees played. Got home and the disc was scratched and wouldn't play. When I went to return it they gave me a hell of a time, saying I was responsible for the damage because it was a new game. Blah blah blah, the receipt was less than 1 hour old mind you.
I haven't bought anything from GameStop since then and it's been a great 4 y...
@SavingPvt_Highon I also am in my thirties and have gone all digital this generation. Haven't bought a single hardcopy game, I think it's a matter of preference over age. Doing a digital preorder and preloading the game is much more appealing than going to a store, waiting in line, driving home and then popping the disc in while I wait for it to install and then finally play. Digital let's me play as soon as the game launches.
Makes me wonder though, if people ...
@Ashlen the free PC codes were only given to digital preorder's. Since digital doesn't count on NPD there's no way the PC codes could count as a sale since the digital copies don't count towards NPD.
Wait what? Easy mode?
Did the Spartans get an "easy mode" at the Battle of Thermopylae?
THIS IS DARK SOULS! HU WAH
There are reports out there that indicate there are frame rate issues even on the newest hardware for PC. It's a software driven problem, not hardware.
There's a reason the DSfix mod was created by the community for the pc port of Dark Souls 1. From Software, while an amazing artistic developer, is not known to make the best performing games.
I will second that opinion!
@Purp http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
No more trying to dance around what engine the game uses, ok?
Ha! In all seriousness, can Valve count past 2?
If they learn the magical number 3 let's hope for Portal 3 (and half life 3)
@Jmanzare that was so funny I almost fell out of my chair.
But when you are older you tare responsibility for what you put in your body. Kids don't know better and it's a tough conversation as a parent to explain why your little girl can't have the same Elsa toy as her friend because we don't eat at McDonalds
