Majority of backers are on Switch, overwhelmingly so. So why even support the other versions?? 3 backers for Xbox?? Given PUBG on the system why even try? Seems like a waste of resources and time when you are unlikely to recoup on those investments. Steam and Switch, maybe Ps4 if it looks as demand is there (which it doesn't).

Correct, according to NPD Switch has outsold Ps4 4 months out of its first 6 in the US, in Japan it has outsold it every month. UK has the Switch outselling the Xbox YTD but "Far behind Ps4".. The only redeeming factor in this scenario for xbox is that it wasn't decidedly crushed because of Switch supply constraints.
I'd say unless Switch ABSOLUTELY EXPLODES in 2018 Ps4 is securely #1 this gen with over 60m sold iirc.
@letsa_go You're absolutely correct about Xbox but still creates a healthy environment when 3 consoles are on the market though! Hopefully MS shapes up!
Recently I've played my Switch way more than my other consoles I'm all for it's success. Lets see how well the Switch holds in November with XboneX, Letsa_go is correct MS is desperate right now but given a good console has come out from a relative failure previously, Wii from GC, 360 after xbox, Ps4 after ps3 and Switch after Wii U, So hopefully MS is so desperate they do all thats possible for their console!

They're all great consoles but people favor one over the other for various reasons.
A "much better" experience is subjective. Seeing as I genuinely rather enjoy playing my Switch flying from Hawaii to Boston multiple times a year to visit family or playing in bed rather than being in front of a TV, or even letting other people use the Tv while I game continuously. Jeez I enjoy my Ps4 as much as the next guy but reasons have become very thin for me to sit in front of it for hours lately.
I don't know where this animosity toward games is coming...
Also in its 6th month, it literally took Ps4 and Xbone YEARS to not be severely lacking in certain genres. Like i've always maintained I didnt get my Ps4 until Bloodborne!
