That was updated a long time ago it used to take 1 min to get into a race at launch. Now it is 15 seconds.
I think the PS4 will eventually "win" regardless. The question is, will it get off to a fast start.

Lets just start with the APU 28nm bought off AMD vs. Producing and Manufacturing your own 90nm Cell Processor, and getting ripped off by Nvidia for the 90nm RSX GPU.

28nm 1 chip off the shelf = cheap
180nm 2 chips heavy R&D investment, Nvidia = expensive.
