What? No Kefka?

Seems like we get a new version of this list every month.

Wii also has Warioware and Super Paper Mario.

Sadly, my biggest attraction to the Wii is the Virtual Console.

If you're going to raise the price of games, raise the quality of games. Pretty graphics and too short or crappy gameplay isn't worth $60.

The "flamebait" heading is from the source.

"Okay so a 2 hour movie costs $10 = $5 per hour of entertainment"

Heavenly Sword was a AAA title with only 5 hours of gameplay and limited replay. That's $12 / hour of entertainment. It's crap like this that boils my blood. I'm not against paying more. I want to get more then.

You give Starcraft as an example. That's an extreme exception to the rule. Starcraft is one of the all-time greats.

I'm not denying that cost have gone up. Just don...

So what is the benefit of doing this?

All I know is my wife wanted a copy of Harry Potter: OTP for the Wii. I got it for her as part of her anniversary present. She's played it only once. When she's played, she wants me to sit next to her for help, and she so unskilled at it, the experience is painful.

"No, go right. That right there... the one on the right. Pick up the red item. No, not the blue one, the red one. It's right in front of you!"

At least she's pretty good at Wii Sports.

Did the author take the picture with his cell phone? The picture at Newsweek.com is horrible.

Here's the rub... I'm buying fewer $60 games than I did $50 games.

"Lets face it, the price of video games goes up with each new console release."

Huh? IIRC, Dragon Quest games on the NES were $85-100 (not the first one) and Street Fighter on the SNES was in that range.

PS1, N64, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube, and XBOX games were all $49.99. That stayed the same from the mid 90's until Microsoft allowed prices to rise when the released the 360.

IMHO $60 is too much for all but the best titles. I'd lik...

Funny that he attributed Mass Effect to Bioware when they're probably best known for Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights.

That cannot be done by a human. It has to be faked like the Lair analog stick playing.

Someone should report this for a bad source. Gamesradar is down from load. ;)

I'm sure plenty of parents / grandparents still call your PS3 / 360 / Wii / whatever your "Nintendo."

1. FPS is king in USA
2. Far fewer PS3:360 in USA

But this game is awesome. I'm loving it.

The 360 winning wouldn't have surprised me unless they did some serious updating to the engine for the PC. The PC engine has been out for quite a while.

They could've done plenty to make it more visually appealing on the 360 port.

Wow, that looks great.

Maybe we can get some DS Monkey Island remakes too.

My point is that Nintendo supports their stuff longer than Microsoft does. Nintendo is much more customer oriented. The comment was regarding MS's lack of customer support with the way they abandoned the XBOX software and hardware as soon as the 360 was introduced.

And yes, I believe there is still support for PS1.

What's your point about them kicking Sony's ass? I have more than 1 console.
