Wow, the one and only thing that makes or breaks a console are the games. That's it. Not the technology or potential, it's the games. Hopefully Microsoft get's their head out of their arse, slow their roll on Kinect, and go back to backing up what made them in the first place. Us core gamers that wear (insert favorite band here) t-shirts.
Sony has been doing it for years, they all have. Have you forgotten the PlayStation commercials where Crash Bandicoot is in front of the Nintendo building calling out the 'Plumber Boy'?! That was hilarious. Same concept, different medium. They all take jabs at each other in their own way. At least Sony tries to be funny about it.

I will totally sh!t on my XBOX should they come out with:
1) A stand alone blu-ray player for the 360
AND
2) Few months (maybe a year?) later a 360 with a intergrated blu-ray drive
As a multiplatform gamer, I am disappointed once again by Microsoft's greed. Charging me another $10 for services I get free (and better) on another platform is ridiculous. Something tells me that they will only continue to raise the prices as they add more online services. Especially if Kinect takes off. And unfortunately there will be those that will continue to pay for it while MS laughs all the way to the bank.
I have a launch 60GB but I hardly play old games on it anymore, now that the PS3 lineup is awesomeness in bunches. The last game old school game I played on it was Snake Eater.

Why would we feel stupid when we can play online and get better online service on the other platforms for free.
How is $10 = free? Are you that ignorant? All the things you mentioned in you $10 more justification you can do on a computer for free. AND if you have a media center you don't need an XBOX subscription to record TV. Are you serious? You and consumers like you is why the big companies continue bend over ALL their customers.

It's not the controller that get's me worked up, it's the price, piece-mil B.S. that Microsoft does that angers me.
And it's not the XBOX that worries me, it's the lack of exclusive games that's are not Kinect related.
