you started out by passively attacking me in your reply by stating that "people just don't understand sales". I happen to understand sales very well, and I presented valid reasoning in my second comment as to why I said Haze flopped. However, instead of actually responding with the snide, but passive (of course) "duno why youd think otherwise". I was debating with you and held back on deeming you a noob until you actually proved to be one by not bringing any facts to th...
when you call your own game a Halo killer no one would ever imagine it doing similar to Halo. Give me a fuggin break, noob.
because Ninja Gaiden 2 is supposed to be a heavy hitter for the 360 this year (you can ask any fanboy in here), so if it does indeed sell 100,000 units I will type right here that it is a flop even if it has a 10 on metacritic. We are talking in terms of sales here and not ratings. Haze did better than I imagined it would after the reviews, I'll admit, but a great success it is not. I'll ask you this, do you think that a self-anointed Halo-killer should sell 100,000 units in its first week...
I actually own Haze, and I didn't think it was a bad game at all, certainly not as bad as a 4. However, when you look at the top 4 games sold this week it should be deemed a flop as far as console-moving goes. I understand the way sales work, and Haze is not pushing any consoles. Maybe you should understand the way reading comprehension works and notice that I was using the software sales in reference to hardware sales. Selling 70,000 copies less than GTAIV (360) is nothing to be overly p...
has undoubtedly paid their dues. It's fun to see them back up there:) Now if only we could get Sega's name back in the mix...
!000 difference between 360 and PS3, while Nintendo makes it look easy with the Wii surging farther ahead. I suppose none of this is a surprise as Wii Fit has just released, Haze flopped, and Ninja Gaiden 2 is just around the bend:)
that Playstation consoles never sell blazingly fast the first 2 years, and the PS3 is still the most expensive console out. Not to mention the most well-known titles from the Playstation brand have yet to put out games on the PS3. We will see what happens when a well-known and liked Playstation game hits the PS3 exclusively next month. Saying that "the US doesn't want none of it", aside from sounding ignorant, does nothing more than show that you have completely no idea what you ...
starting with "360 is not competing with the Wii", followed by "well the PS3 is still third", followed then by "well the PS3 isn't competing with the Wii either" or "what is Microsoft going to do when the PS3 passes the 360?". These are just a couple guesses:P lol
PS3 hasn't been on life support for a while now, there was no need for him to even say that.
I know this is off-topic, but I was wondering if I could add to the Haze hate a little it after sticking up for the game by saying that my copy has totally bugged out and won't allow me to play the campaign anymore about %90 through the game. At least my friend wants to buy it for $30, poor guy. lol
At least people have realized what Haze was meant for: a rental:)
Sorry, I've already reserved October for LittleBigPlanet. As much as I'd like to get Bioshock, I'll probably wait a while:)
I agree one hundred percent! It is always nice to see new IPs or anything other than shooters dropping on next-gen consoles. Sometimes it seems as though Sony and Microsoft have failed to notice that Nintendo has done quite well this generation, and their most popular games are definitely not shooters. However, I absolutely loved Resident Evil 4 on the Wii:P
that will keep the hype train rolling! This is my most anticipated title this year after MGS4.
Out of those games, I would expect Ninja Gaiden 2 to be on top. These rental charts don't really mean much to me, though.
Yeah, I'd say so!
That is a bold and highly debatable statement. lol
that to assume one game is going to be better than the other is just plain ignorant (come on, we all know what ASSuME means lol), but I must say if LittleBigPlanet received a 7 and Banjo an 8, not only would I be incredibly shocked (since alot of people who have been amazed by LBP in previews will also be reviewing it) but it would not change the fact that in order to determine which game is better you have to play it for yourself. Like you said, you can't judge a book by its cover, Perfect ...
Slow news day so far...
LMAO
