Oh definitely - All this time I felt like the front runners for GOTY would be between Portal 2, UC3, Skyrim, and maybe even Witcher 2...
But this game looks like it will blow everything out of the water. This looks to be the kind of improvement that ACII was over AC and U2 was over U:DF.
It would really have to drop the ball big time come release for it to miss out on GOTY
I like MGS, thinks it's a great game. Having said that, I find the story too convoluted for my liking. I think Kojima's time would be better spent crafting a new IP.
He has amazing, innovative gameplay ideas. Perhaps he should leave the writing to someone else.
Someone above mentioned the IP should be given to Naughty Dog - They have it half right. A collaboration between Amy Henning and Kojima would be incredible.

Definitely not sick of any AC related just yet - however I think that for AC3 next year they are going to need a new engine. While the game still looks great, it starting to show a little age when compared to Arkham City and Infamous 2.

The only thing I'm a tad disappointed about is the removal of the Truth-type puzzles. That's what made AC2 and AC:B so appealing to me.
Still...let's hope they do something even more creative in Revelations.

Its funny, for me I went the other way. After the first game I was very hesitant in getting the second, but after II, I became more and more anxious to know what's going to happen next.
I think the continued success of the franchise will rest heavily on how well they answer our questions in Revelations. I expect there to be a cliffhanger, but this time more along the lines of God of War 2's cliffhanger and not AC II's WTF ending.

Well then, dare I say Europe has the better version? The only thing I could say it's missing out on is the design of the American Steelbook. It looks really expensive.
Either way, the main thing I was after is the figurine and the necklace. Oh, and the bloody game of course :)

What exactly is the difference between the two? From what I can see, the CE has a much better steel casing and also a different 'chest'. The statues look the same, and you get the ring and buckle as well.
Does anyone know? I would rather get the CE because of the steel case, but I don't think i get that version in this region
Not so sure. I think the move to it being downloadable might just be what this game needs to succeed.
This game has been around too long with too little information to hold the public interest. A retail release at full price may well have been disastrous.
A downloadable title at half-price? Might just work
