I also wondered if that child who people think could be a young Mantis, is actually a young Liquid, something about that blonde hair in the elevator scene. Although in MGS we never got to see the real Mantis because he was horribly disfigured. I think it's the mannerisms of him floating, the dangling arms and skinny frame not ignoring the general wackiness of the entire trailer that creates a Mantis comparison.
Early speculation suggested that this could be a boss battle...
I don't think fans are still speculating too much as to what the game series is, more who the characters are, the setting and other oddities. Some people are still wondering if the character is Liquid Snake, despite the fact that Liquid's arm was removed after his death and it was his right arm not left.
It would be quite a major revelation if the character was actually some clone of Big Boss or even Solid Snake himself.

Well I think Ken and his creativity are falling back on genuine ideals and attitudes of the time, in a sense of culminating a fantasy experience with a real one - much like Assassin's Creed III. There's nothing wrong with that.
But, this is video games and someone always has to die, to the point where the audience becomes desensitized to who is being killed simply because games lack the complexity and depth to make killing have a more emotional impact.
Sadly this sort of thing happens often.

Not sure how much can be improved from Blood Money considering it is already a current gen game. It will be interesting to see some comparison videos showing how much the HD makeover has improved the game's looks.
We all know that the arms are different, but how can you even be sure the character even has a missing arm when the whole scene could be a dream. It's possible the missing arm is a clue and hint towards Liquid. I agree the evidence more supports Big Boss as the character, but then we were also led to believe we'd be playing MGS 2 entirely as Solid Snake.
You forgot the biggest clue of them all, the fact that the character's hair looks lighter than Snake's and Big Boss, hinting at Liquid, although Solidus also has light hair. That said, Liquid possibly dyed his hair that colour in MGS, I can't recall.
The age of the character would fit Liquid also, and the British flag in the hospital also some hint seeing as Liquid has ties to the UK.

I don't think it's plagiarism, but as the article states there should be some acknowledgement given to the source. This is the Internet, where stories get passed around and regurgitated all the time. However, with any publication worth its salt, some common courtesy should be employed at all times.

The game mentioned or even implied nothing of a sexual assault, more the necessity to see if the character is infected. Way to see what isn't there author.

To the Author: Rule number 1. Don't bad mouth a game from a brief play at a gaming event like Eurogamer (especially when you admit you suck!) where all and sundry could have changed the settings which could severely impact your enjoyment.
Maybe all the assists where turned off? Perhaps your false start meant you drove like a idiot trying to catch up meaning the car behaved as it should - like a wild stallion. In any racing game, you can't take a corner at 90 when the pea...
