Three of the games you've listed aren't even released yet so do these count considering the downgrades that happen from target renders?

I think fans are just disappointed it has not released properly and can't play it at present. The cost has nothing to do with this.

An amazing looking game where the Photo mode brings it home as to how fine looking the PS4 graphics are up close and out of context of movement.
Such a great idea to include a photo mode, although Sucker Punch obviously were extremely confident in their product, and why not eh.
Except I can't log in to the servers at present which makes the game return to title screen. So much for a focus on Single player when the game won't work without server connection. Anyone else have any luck?
Yep this is really bad and simply preying on fans and perverts alike. Sure there's a nice selection of costumes, and it's great you can pick and choose the ones you want rather than be forced to buy packs, but at the end of the day the cost per costume £1.99 is simply too much. A pack costs as much as the full game £24.99 and is just a rip off.
I miss Kokoro, Hitmomi, Christie, Lisa, Helena and Tina simply because I ain't paying the money they are asking...

£39.99 is still too much after all this time. Whilst I'm not suggesting they give these away for free, a more reasonable price would be better suited imo.
If I was in charge these would be in the region of £14.99. I guess I would be fired pretty sharpish.

The Bluepoint port proves that there's actually very little that is "next gen" about Titanfall's gameplay hence its release on last gen hardware. Therefore what's left to give it a "next gen" tag? The graphics.
EA steered away from the graphics difference with their advertising but they are implying gamers can have a next gen experience on a last gen console when the reality is what they are offering is a last gen exp...
You obviously didn't read the article or watch the video. The differences are quite noticeable even with YT compression. EA not Bluepoint are advertising the Xbox 360 game as a "next gen experience", when clearly from those who have played both it is not.
Oh, I don't know. Call of Duty World At War on Veteran with all the grenade spamming drove me to insanity and back, and when I beat the game was a moment of elation.
MGS 3 Snakeater had a very poignant ending about love, honor and death which tugged on the heart strings also.
Then there are those games which were absolutely terrible and induced proper man crying!
After Mark Cerny said on Live TV (Jimmy Fallon show) that the PS4 would allow uploading to Youtube, it has since become a cloudy area which should roll out at some point in the future. At present the option is simply not available.
With MS making a stride with this right now, hopefully it will hurry Sony up!
My missus took a while to get to grips with the X1 but now is quite fluent. This will be something new for her to learn now.
I think the issue is a willingness to learn something new from a lifetime of doing something in a particular fashion.
If the cynical can offer an open mind then all's good. If not, then as you suggest it's an uphill struggle, especially when the thing doesn't work 100%.

It doesn't matter how good or bad Sutherland is, that's not the point. Many of us have grown with Snake/BB being voiced by one man, and to have it change doesn't feel the same. Nostalgia or not.
I won't dismiss the game because of this, but will always state my opinion that Hayter is Snake/BB.
Hayter is Snake/BB. And always will be in my mind. I spent many hours with that character and voice. Sutherland might prove to be good, but Hayter is still Snake for me.
