Bravo.That's the spirit.
About 12 hours in and the game sort of ramps-up a little here. Episode 3 FYI. I'll bite and try and present what I like about it so far.
It's a walking sim on the literal sense. I actually like that. Kojima took the mundane action of pressing-up to move forwards and turned it into a game. I find I am taking in details I wouldn't in other games. I'm thinking about the journey ahead more and what it entails. I am very mindful of the weather conditions. To the ...
I don't think he was joking. I want big anime boobs as well (optional).
A psychopath with a conscience. Pfft. Can't get the staff these days.
I don't see anything wrong in reporting these types of games on N4G but I think there needs to be a rule where the thumbnail needs to be less knee-jerk-click-baity. Perhaps a default thumbnail could be used for these types of games.
Is this game going to make people rush out and buy a VR headset? I still think the cost of entry is too high for the majority. Oculus Quest £399 and mobile like games. Now comes an option to attach Quest to PC for higher quality experiences, but then you need to factor in the cost of the PC. VR isn't going to hit mainstream until it's sub $100 for a headset and a similar figure for the PC/Laptop to run it. Maybe in 5 years time Oculus develop a half-dome untethered headset with P...
First RAGE 2 now this... get a grip people.
"We had our doubts that they would be able to make his character look as good as the cinematic in the game."
You had doubts? Come on man. You already made an article about this.

It was running on PC with a controller apparently. They say this at the start of the video.
Sorry bout the spammin comments but I think it's kinda not fair to show people behind the scenes 4K content then let them talk about that to us meanwhile we have to make do with low-quality compressed 1080p videos. Why can't they just release a decent quality video in the first place and be done with it. I would be most happy with the deep dive video in native 4K even on Youtube.
This has already been said before. Not sure why CDPR choose to release a 1080p upscalled to 2160p to get a better encoding bitrate for Youtube video than uploading a native 4K video even if it's 30fps. Maybe it wouldn't run so well with the RTX features enabled at 2160p? Not sure what I would prefer actually. More eye candy RTX features at 1080p or higher res with less eye candy at 2160p. Hmmm.
All they need to do is offer a photo mode in specific areas and this becomes less of an issue.
Up to this point you might expect to see your character in cutscenes. Except that changed when they announced most cutscenes now in first person view. This decision might not be a new one. But only now is made public. I would have liked to see my character in 3rd person during scenes but it's not a deal breaker for me. I am reading for some people it has dampened their enthusiasm.
I think it's easy to gloss over the negatives given how they represent the game. They don't have massive amounts of experience with FPS gameplay and some of these bits look a bit generic in my view. Shoot the back of the boss to weaken it. C'mon that gameplay quirk has been used since like forever. Are you sure they couldn't come up with a more original way? You can dress it up all you like in defence of the game but let's not ignore any shortcomings. No game is perfect. I...
Ray traced RTX version mate captured on a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti - https://www.youtube.com/wat...
My take from this video is the person is still excited for the game but not totally blind to its negatives or how CDPR are cleverly curating its promotion.
He has a smooth voice so should come across well as a VG character.
I remember playing this when it first came out to compliment the TV series. Has it improved much since then?
Isn't Night City also in the Neuromancer novels? I started reading it a while back but didn't get too far. I am not 100% that it was mentioned in the first few chapters.
It still very much is. Even in the early games unlocking new costumes was a thing so get off yer high horse and address the real issue.
Koei Tecmo fleecing its fans to purchase new clothing items that are a rehash from the previous game. Adopting the same DLC transactions which have plagued gaming for years now ever since the Oblivion Horse Armour reared its ugly head. At the same time, these items are OPTIONAL. Now, I would prefer if they had the options of easy - pay to ...
