People have taken a liking to this golf game. Why? Thats not a trolling why, no I'm reserving that for Ridge Racer, I just really want to know. Is it that good?
They shouldn't report news because you don't like it??
Thats less than 1 game per system sold, granted digital sales aren't counted in this case and will probably account to half the total sales or more considering their attractive pricing but as it stands these numbers aren't term encouraging.
Let's not forget that SONY make the bulk of their profit off of software when it comes to gaming.
inb4dantecryingaboutmediaplota gainstsony Microsoft got alot of (deserved) grief for their proprietary Memory Units and HDD's but at least they packaged their Arcade consoles with 256 mb memory units that were pretty much enough to satisfy all the game saving needs a gamer could have.
You could play every single xbox 360 game at launch on an arcade without buying a hard drive.
What SONY have done here is just plain greedy, at least bundle a 2gb memory card with VITA.
Those are lackluster sales, hopefully digital sales make up the bulk of total software sales because on retail alone that works out to less than one game per system.
That said, impressive numbers for Uncharted.
Shock and awe, its not like they are paying a yearly subscription for it or anything like that. . .oh wait, they are.
Oh my goodness would you can it with the conspiracy theories please?? Gees nobody can report anything about VITA unless they are saying how awesome and griffin-essue it is and how they want it inside them and want to have its babies without Dante here chiming in about how the media is out to get SONY.
FFS man, gtfo of your mom's basement and go outside!
/end rant.
I feel so much better. Totally worth the bubble I'm going to lose. Ignored.
I seem to remember exploding batteries in SONY laptops. I guess maybe, just maybe companies learn from their mistakes??
Nah that can't be right, no lets drag out Rrod even though it hasn't been a problem for years now.
They tried that with GFWL and it failed because their competition (steam) was too strong.
On the consoles front they succeeded because Xbox Live had and has no equal. I mean Xbox Live inspired the existence of PSN
What deals are you talking about? Does SONY make deals with western developers to get multiplats? Then why are we ignorantly assuming that Microsoft do that in the east? Typical SONY troll, assuming that FF belongs to you.
Uh yeah. . .in Japan. XIII sold 2 million on 360 worldwide, while not nearly as much as PS3, SE would be stupid to remove pretty much a hundred million dollars worth of revenue by making it PS3 exclusive
Because making it ps3 exclusive somehow makes it awesome, what with its unicorn magic and all right?
No, we don't.
Everybody always gets their knickers wet over ps3 exclusives' boxarts when in reality most aren't even that great. Resistance 3 was pretty sweet and different. The rest are standard and not worth hyping, esp StarHawk
That would be awesome if VITA had no production cost, plus do you think they are gonna keep it at 250 its entire lifetime? Don't be absurd. Software is where these companies make their money.
Let me give it a shot, people are disagreeing because you're BSing, there's no way you have more problems on Xbox Live. Xbox Live is better for a number of reasons,
the interface is integrated into the system,
the marketplace is faster to navigate,
party chat and cross game chat is pretty nice, esp when playing single player games.
Xbox live is alot more stable than psn, it doesn't go down for hours on end for maintainence every 79 minutes, ...
That awkward moment when you have nothing awkward to talk about.
But somehow vsXIII will be awesome and everybody and their llamas will buy one right?
Exactly, all they have to do is rename it and boom, JRPG of the year if not GOTY. Unless of course it goes multiplat, then it is overrated junk.
It's Rdg Rcr. . .they cut out the cars and tracks from their game, I'm cutting out vowels from their meme.
5 million? What are you talking about? They are at 3.6 million in just Japan, they are at 9.7 million worldwide right now. Or maybe I misunderstood your statement
According to you though, Kotaku only reports bad SONY news
