Makes you wonder just how little it was last year when it was supposed to release.
Here I was, thinking iPhone was a phone and not a handheld gaming console. My mistake. So its ok to compare the two markets when we are comparing prices but they are incomparable when it is suggested that iPad is overshadowing handhelds?
Why is it that everytime the media says that handheld consoles are dying because of iPad and mobile devices people here on N4G claim that the 2 markets have nothing to do with each other, but as soon as anyone says Vita is too expensive people say iPad costs more so its justified?? I thought they were different markets?
Are SONY just bent on not selling the 3G model? 20mb limit, AT&T, expensive data plan.

Good read. I felt the same way about Alan Wake. It is by no means a bad game, but after the lengthy dev time allocated to it, I was expecting to be blown away.
It isn't a very good idea to announce a game 5 years from release because it builds way too much hype which the final product rarely matches.

My wager is they'll try squeeze more profit out of 360. Financial reports suggest that 2011 was the year 360 finally fully pays for itself.
They have recouped all their costs on the console with the help of kinect and I'm certain they'll want to ride that profit for at least another 2 years to come, which would be sound business practice.
