I have been bitching about my 20GB Xbox 360 that constantly freezes and sometimes won't read discs, my old broken controller and the wired mic I hate. This gives me a deal on everything I need and its Halo. Best limited edition console ever.
Too bad lots of developers are lazy and they release games with short single players and nothing more. I absolutely love Fallout, I've put so much time into it.
Sorry, but there is no way in Hell I'd buy any of the recent wave of single player only games with under 10 hours of gameplay. Multiplayer better stay. Hopefully we see more unique concepts from single player translate over to multiplayer in the future.
This alone makes the game a must have.
That's why its the only FPS I'll get 2010 or 2011.
Reach is it for FPS for me, so much customization to keep the game fresh. I'm going to find more genres to play. Twisted Metal looks nice.
Its out in 3 months and finished before that. Don't pull that "its a beta" shit. The game is essentially finished.
Its an unfinished knockoff, no thanks.
I'm getting this for a good reason. I need a new Xbox 360, currently using an old 20GB system. I also need a new controller and want a wireless headset. That alone is 410 and the bundle is 400. It also comes with one of the most anticipated games ever, one month of Xbox live and a second controller. I look at it as a bundle and not a limited edition.
Can't edit my post. I just want to clarify that when I posted the first paragraph was it for labwarrior's post. Killzone is definitely lacking variety no matter how solid the gameplay is. Reach is the best FPS in my opinion, there are so many options and the gameplay from the beta was great.
Four player co-op with all skulls, fuck yeah.
Can you say best FPS ever? More games need options like Halo or Little Big Planet have. Why buy another, more limited FPS in a cluttered market? If you're playing this right you'll still be playing in a few years, on maps and gametypes you never played before.
I was looking into Killzone 3, but why am I going to buy another shooter that has limited maps and gametypes? I'll get Little Big Planet 2 and Gran Turismo 5 still. With Halo Reach's options there is no reason to buy another FPS on a console. Four player split screen online is nice too.
Edit: If you're going to disagree, then please elaborate. What makes Killzone 3 a must have FPS?
I might buy Legendary and I need a new Xbox. I'll probably get the regular Halo Reach one and give the copy of Halo Reach as gift.
Don't forget firefight is fully customizable, versus and Gruntacolypse are just the beginning.
This game will be the only game I ever need.
I don't understand the disagree, this game is Little Big Planet(I'm getting 2) if it was an FPS.
and then games like God of War 3 or Alan Wake have short campaigns and no replay value.
Too bad it doesn't come with the limited edition version of Halo: Reach. I need a new Xbox 360 and a controller, my 20GB pro has seen better days.
There is always an easy difficulty for people like you. The hard difficulty usually sucks though. Enemies shouldn't just have just 500% health and be near instant kill, they should get smarter and more aggressive.
How about a map editor? heavily customizable gametypes?
