I agree. Let's make all FPS the same generic experiences. Nothing wrong with always doing the exact same thing as everyone else. I want to see 50 FPS come out in 2011, all with weapon customization, ADS, genric and simple gametypes and a lack of map and gameplay customization. I salute you pansenbar. Its not like you could just play an FPS with ADS instead of Reach.

You can not play a game like Gears of War with motion control, its not happening. The gameplay is far too complex, good players can already run circles around bad players with both of them using a controller. That's just one example of can't be done with motion control. A game has to be slow paced and lack gameplay variety for motion control to work. Maybe in the single player of Gears of War where the enemies sit still and so can you, but never online.

A map editor is nothing without good gameplay options. In Far Cry I had the options to play basic things on amazing maps. That leads to the same experience every time. Bungie has complimented their map editor with a massive amount of gameplay customization, leading to a new experience every time you play something user created.
Forge came first, but I sure hope options and customization are the future of gaming. Three years of user feedback and user created content inspired Bungie to take it to the next level.
Go play Halo 3 customs. See the crazy things people made with much more limited Halo 3 Forge. With the new objects and tools combined with the new gametypes and customization options we are going to see some very impressive things from Reach.
I don't think its fair to say the industry needs Twisted Metal. More like it needs what Twisted Metal is trying to be. Like all unreleased games that I haven't even tested, it needs to prove itself. So far it looks great and I expect it to be a must have. I'll probably end up getting a PS3 for that and a few other titles.
I started playing GTA III at 8 and haven't stopped playing violent video games since. My mother made it perfectly clear games and real life are two different things. Lack of parent involvement is where the problem is with some kids. It amazes me how well violence, a good story and solid gameplay have been blended together so many times.

No it isn't. There is a strict policy against inappropriate content. I can get banned for reporting people for no reason, I only target quitters that violate the rules. They want to ruin my match, I'll one up them. You're probably a quitter.
When someone quits, I look at their profile. If there is something inappropriate I report them, automatic ban.
I'd pay a very small yearly fee for a game like Halo where they update the game constantly using feedback from players. Not a monthly fee, but maybe $20 a year.
Everything about PS+ is profit. Its all digital goods with no real value. It also traps users because the longer you use it the more you lose if you stop.
I love Call of Duty, it cleansed Halo's online population. Good riddance to most of the people that left. Nothing of value was lost.
